Seaspiracy documentary-

Was watching a show called Seaspiracy on Netflix, wow 🤢🤢
I didn't realise just how messed up the whole seafood industry really is, that farmed salmon is basically grey and is just dyed pink/ orange.
Too many other eye opening things as well.... i think i'll have to try and expedite my path to becoming vegetarian now.
It just made me think that we're going to hit a wall one of these days, likely sooner than we're prepared for.

But on a more positive note, did anyone see that TMZ video of DJT making an absolute fool of himself at some idiots wedding? 😀
GOD he really is that pathetic. I love it.

Salmon industry is fucked. Its a mayor threat to the wild salmon here to. Never buy that stuff period. Only eat when iits served as just as another hypocrite. Only buy whats caught. Its also not so tasty after we did some tastes at home, huge taste specter.

yeah, net-farmed salmon is a piss-poor imitation of the real thing. they are a prime example of "you are what you eat". in the wild they eat straight live seafood diet,; shrimp, herring, etc. turns their flesh bright orange. when folks in zoos first started keeping flamingoes, they turned white! WTF! secret was in their natural food, it turned their feathers pink.

We also did a hometest of tasting chicken. Same drill hippy. "Eco" was better than "average" industry, but then we tasted some french longer lived with more natural food. Now we started talking chicken dinner! I find it really interessting how huge specter we are talking or tasting. Words can never be "enough" for showing the difference, nope, sorry. I could write so much and people would just say yeahyeahyeah.... I would have done the same thing if we had not done this tests at home.

I have also been a pig farmer. Outdoor pigs, mostly ate what they found themself and so on... Less is more attitude towards cereal feeds. Long story short, I was depressed for a year and didnt have the energy to mince some meat and bought meat instead (stupid, right?) anyways. Tasted again after a year... Then I felt even more stupid cause that 20kg I minced did not last long.. Again, simply not the same. Almost like I would smoke hemp instead of ganja. LOL

Peace mate

Well, what did you expect..? a billion people, all wanting to eat fish.. It can only be possible in a way that is neither healthy for the fish or for the oceans..

I have always found it so facinating with an attiutude like that. It can only be possible this or that way, Im not saying Im a genius and Im not saying you are either, but I dont say nobody is, and it is not possible for better solutions. Some drunk friend of mine said: if its will, its a way... and afteryears of meeting lifes obsticles I have not found so many situations that he is wrong with....? A quote of someother guy was that with more intellect the less resources you need for what every situations you meet. Something like that and I hope you get the point..

"They" said the same thing about pigs, chicken, cow meat and so on.... Im a stubborn kinda guy, and I have proved people wrong on that too. The meat I had on my farm well, it was great taste wise and I can promise everyone here with my hand on my heart I used very little resources to do it aswell. Way less then the local pig farmers, industrial style.

I also have an professor in my family in fishing and I have meet some people working on that shite too, well, I dont wanna work so much in convincing people but I simply do not agree with that statement.

What I expect is an intellect conversation with facts on facts. Thats it and maybe some empathy for the world we live in.

The problem is that not all meat can be produced the way you did.

That might be the problem as the way you see, and there you got my problem mate. You have an absolutt view of it and leave no possibility in you mind for another way. I simply have an other view point and I gladly share it and hope you dont mind. I really do believe all meat can be produced this way. I have played with numbers for years and put out in the practical work after the theory is worked out. So Im pretty convinced, I will admitt that.

What make you believe not all meat can be produced "my way" or another way of the recipe that is layed out today in the industry? Less acerage per X amount produced of meat? Too much labor? Too costy? Im curious.
