The only reason why most people bring themselves to give a shit about this is because the guy was a pro football player. It is just weird. It's like ok, this guy died. But...what about everyone else? You gonna mourn them too every day, every second...?

Those of us who literally grew up watching Redskins games every weekend are a part of the Redskins family. We just had a tragic and sudden death in the family. While not knowing Sean personally, watching him play every weekend, cheering for him when he made a play, yelling at him when he screwed up, becomes a part of you. This applies to football fans in general but moreso to Redskins fans who were raised on burgundy and gold. We grew to like Taylor as the leader of the defense and as a man who had turned his life around and saved his career after a shaky start.

I get the feeling you aren't a football fan (or sports in general) so you probably just wouldn't understand.

you have a point there, but fact is he was murdered...sure alot of murders go unnoticed, i have an uncle (also a minority) who's body was discovered in lake michigan...not one mention of it in the media, but he wasnt a celebrity so i can understand that

So four dirtbags have been arrested & according to a couple of their lawyers, "some of them have confessed to the murder." I'm glad they were able to catch these guys right away, I won't use the 'closure' word as I think that's some sort of passive cop out meant to disguise someones true feelings of wanting revenge. IMO they should release these fvckers inside FEDEX Stadium and let the fans have at 'em.......
