I think peeps dont realise that a lot of the trichs on sativas are on very short stalks. My GreenHaze/Thais are like that. They have stripes of tall trichomes with shit tons of little resin buttons in between the stripes. I didn't notice them until I pulled out my 15X jewelers loop and had a closer look. I found trichs all over these girls, on the sun leaves, the stems, everywhere! I just cant see them with out magnification.

Good luck on your porject Gano!

very interesting! I take out magnify glass and look when new ones are flower.

now is F1 group ready. have outside to start flower, hope can finish before rain.

question for outdoor growers. find this spot in very isolate place. low mountains and sandy/soil with a river. was want to plant along the river but worry about nutrition. Should put some manure or something there? dont want use chemicals by a stream.

Awesome job and as far as planting on the river, well from most of my readings it is believed that river edges is where cannabis grew most often before and even after human intervention. The river allows the plant an opening that would make it easier for the plants to reproduce as they wouldn't be surrounded by other large plants that could catch the pollen or block the wind from blowing it to females further away. The river also gave it a consistent source of water. Also depending on the river and the weather, seasonal flooding would also give the seeds a wet time to germinate while also washing in fresh nutrients to the soil.

So as long as its a safe place to grow I would say that the river edge(not too close opbviously) would be the best possible place to grow these landraces.

traditionally cultivation in Southeast Asia has been along rivers, above all along the edges of the Mekong - on sandbanks and on agricultural land after the monsoon rains have slowed and the flood waters have retreated... fertile land, access to water, and often high levels of reflected light

for what it's worth I think carrying seeds across borders in Southeast Asia is a really, really bad idea - get caught and you can expect to do prison time, even on the Lao/Cambodia border... the point is that you are crossing a national border, and that is very different from being found with cannabis inside the country (which as people know is not a big deal in Laos or Cambodia)

Hi Ngakpa

It is a pity. I think until December 1996 cannabis was actually legal in Cambodia. Now I think it is not highly forbiddden, many restaurants sell openly "Happy Herb Pizza", but it is not the same.

Greetings.

I was just in Cambodia and yes, it is illegal now and you will have to pay a bribe if caught within Cambodia. I think quality has gone down too. One of the Herb pizza places in Siem Reap was busted for dealing a few years ago too. The US government do what they can to keep or make it illegal wherever possible, while legalization within the US grows ever closer. Ridiculous really.

very nice man/s/, cannabis do/es/best in riverbanks, from my 22years of growing i have best growing plants //quickest growing, most trichome development,//always in riverbank soil//live near river//or with mix of aquaristic river white sand.,, i read it when i was 13 years from a book from 60ties
have one time TNR? //some kcbrains must be those time 1997/ who give minimal 3,5meter high with minimal 500g of unriped buds-- germinated right 1july-inspected end august for that volume - sun was only 4 hours daily midday sun and growed in dryed riverbank.//she was stolen week two later//

-another extreme grow with riversoil was some two years later, my friend growed on window some long years halide iondoor growing indica seeds from some long cannabis medical smoking man.//soon he died//I have never seen a plant like it to these days-----it was in South window growing from may and in end august it was 30cm only high and wide ,around ten nodes hollow stem but leafs and buds 1cm trichomes and very dense, in fact the leafes were total 2cm wide /1cmleaf and 1cm trichomes/,, to that riped buds full of seeds were like from wood, aall plant thru was very robust, very plastic and Woody on touch and undestructible and riped earliest from here in Slovakia. i have two seeds from it and eat them //i was teeneger//, but from what i can say i failedd very because i have never seen a plant like this to nowadays
