SD ibl - G-Bolt - LUI - KillaQueen

hello,

some pics of the one week cured buds from my last harvest.

The sour diesel ibl buds in the pics was chopped at day 72 in the goal to have some diesel's buds for a lil' smoke test with some bro's, but the entire plants was cutted down at day 75 and 78 and still in jars for 1+month. That will give me a good idea of the harvest time i will go for the next run...MrBabba sayed me 80 days to be on top.

the smell & taste is pretty close to the others ibl's i smoked from friends, maybe a bit more spicy but the diesel side is very nice. I'm more of an indica fan but i like the high of these buds, i can do everything after a joint but i'm pretty high that's sure real smoke report will come when the curing will be ok.

iluv2blaze> this LUI cut smell a bit skunky, with some fruity and fresh hash strong notes. The taste is close to the smell, maybe more hashy-spicy in the mouth at the exale, all the way enjoyable smoke. The yield can be pretty high, i have 58grs in a 5 liters pot under a 400w but the yield isn't my first goal. I find the flowering time to have a large window, i would say 53 to 70 days but 65 days is good for personnal stash. The potency is great, not a devastating buzz it's very pleasant even if you feel that it's a strong weed.
Good after the work or to watch a moovie and see the end if you don't smoke too much lol

thanks to Motarebel who did a wonderfull job at breeding this killer strain, now i dream about making especially two cross with her : one with a SuperSilverHaze and one with another indica that i haven't decided yet but it need to be in the same category.

How was the yield on the G-Bold, bro? We are collecting Motarebel strains, searching for the ideal plants with a medical-type cross in mind. In fact, if you could find the time, Skar, I'd appreciate everything you could tell me about G-Bolt as it will probably be the next grow.

Do you really get a bigger yield with SCROG?

hello jim,

Glad to hear that you are collecting Motarebel strains, he is my favorite breeder with Steve (spice of life) and rez for the plant they give us the possibility to grow.

To stay on the man Mota, his G-bolt is a pretty good yielder and have a lot of med-qualities. Here what i can say on her after 3 grows:

A good vegetative time is the key to yield with her, like mota sayed in the original description she like to make a big single bud at the end of each branches so topping/training are a must IMO.
I've experienced good yield in a 3 liters pot under the same 400w with a kind of a SOG style (1week veg' or so) : 1.5oz.
But i prefer A LOT the last grow with her where she was topped to get 4 strong branches and trained to have a equal canopy, under the good ol' 400w / same nutes but bigger pot (1.5+month veg) : a bit less than 3oz.

I can't really say you if she is a nutes whore 'cause i use to give to my plants a light schedule but based on the structure of the plant/buds i think she can take good amount of nutes .
All the plants are strong and have a good resistance to bud rot, my SweetTooth 1.1 got some just before the harvest and she was close to the G-Bolt but no sign of any on the Bolt at the harvest 10 days later.

Two main pheno show some difference in the bud formation, one got the pointy large nugz trait of the Yumboldt, where the others have a more "ball" like bud formation. The strong smell and taste of both are pretty the same: gummy - fruity - haschy, a bit spicy at the exhale during the smoke.
The flowering time window go from 58 to 70 days, 65 stand for a nice buzz.

The smoke is in the pretty strong indica range, i sayed in another thread that i don't feel a real "couchlock" effect but a heavy pleasant stone. You feel first in your head his powerfull buzz, and it start to take part of your body to make you feel really relax. My favorite indica strain at the moment, because of all the qualities i search who are packed in this plant.
