scrubber to fan to ozone gen to outside exhaust = overkill?

Working on the design for my new room, and am paranoid about odor.

Would a carbon scrubber running to a fan and then to an ozone generator, exhausting to the outside via the roof be overkill? Or is there no such thing as overkill?

No such thing as overkill.

If your carbon filter is big enough you should be fine.

Try it without the ozone generator first.

high Humidity will diminish the effectiveness of the carbon filter. As long as you have negative pressure and a carbon filter properly sized you should be golden, no smell whatsoever.

You'll never regret having extra odor control. If one fails the other hopefully won't.

I use both in a smaller greenhouse that is out of site, but within 100 ft of my neighbor. The ozone generator is put before the carbon filter that is outside. It has 20 feet of ducting that has the ozone at the beginning so it gets mixed for twenty feet, then goes into a sound baffle box and then into the carbon filter. You can't hear or smell it until you get within 30 feet.

Some people are wise to the ozone to cover up weed smell, so having it before the carbon filter eliminates that.

i agree with the above posters, no such thing as too much odor control especially if you're ever in a situation that could get you robbed or put in jail. do you have an ozone generator already?

I got an ona block pro for the 1st time last month and I really like it.
It smells nice and will be an added weapon against odors from now on.

This is what I got going on.

Carbon Filtration + Ona Block Pro + Ozone = Peace of Mind

Not really feasible to put the ozone generator before the carbon filter. When I mean it's being exhausted outside, I mean the air leaving the ozone generator is exiting the house through the roof.
