I never miss a chance to praise this plant. Not the best yielder, not the best growth profile, but when it comes to the high and the taste... she's spot on.
Yes, thanks, Shroomy, for recognizing a good thing when you saw it. This is the ONLY weed I have grown that can get me paranoid on a regular basis. I LOVE that, it means I've become uncomfortably high, which means she gets me higher than the average bear.
She pumps such an exotic scent into the air, both by burning the herb and just smelling the bud in the room. Amazing stuff for many key reasons.
You can bet, now that I have the clone back in my garden, that she will soon be immortalized in our culture's premier media outlet... High Times Magazine. She deserves a permanent place in cannabis history.
I have been without Schrom for many years. Shroomy, if you remember, somehow I was lucky enough to be the first person you gave the cut to back in the OG days. I had one cut of her... I had NO idea if this was going to be a good cut, or you just didn't know what you were talking about and were giving me some untested, mediocre cut. I grew one of them, and she got tall so I relegated her to the back of the grow room. I admit, at first I didn't take her too seriously. However, after about 45 days of 12/12, my lonely Schrom, in the back, dark regions of the room suddenly had my attention in a big way. The smell was amazing, like the perfect representation of a can of Lemon Pledge, not close to lemon Pledge, it was EXACTLY like Lemon Pledge.
So, I took a small cutting from the bottom of the flowering plant to preserve it for another grow. I continued to grow her for about two years.
The sativa influece is present in the high, big time. Federation Seeds said the Romulan was mostly sativa, and that she looked somewhat indica because she was bred for indoor traits, but kept the sativa high. So when she crossed to the mexican sativa, you got a VERY dominant sativa high, with some growth habits that benefit indoor growing.
I like to tell the story about my Schrom-induced paranoia, because it was REAL paranoia, and paranoia is NOT something I am prone to...
Schrom and I were sitting in the forest one day, as I often like to do, and the high from the Schrom got so intense, I got paranoid. I was CERTAIN something had gone wrong back home. I RUSHED out of the woods to get home, only to find nothing was wrong at all. I'm not prone to bouts of paranoia, as a matter of fact, that was the worst paranoia I ever had, and Schrom was responsible. The other times I've come close to paranoia were also due to smoking too much Schrom.
I'm glad Jason King listed Schrom as one of the world's elite clones. The high of Schrom is truly world class, and the taste is also incredible. I can't wait to get mine into flower!!! It'll be my first crop of Schrom in many years... a blast from the past! hehehe

Yeah Schroomy, big thanks. Few varieties have characteristics this distinct and awesome. Genetics is always a crap shoot, and thanks for taking the shot. I love this stuff, and I can't wait - only a few weeks till my Schrom is done! I promise pics when shez done.

My schroms at 65 days flower and i must say I love this plant, out of the plants I grew this round schrom def looks like it will be the best smoke. CC got the smell spot on, can't wait too see what this bud taste like. Hopefully have some pictures for u guys later today

Damn I hope I get a couple phenos with that lemon smell, the shcrom x la conf is loking real good, there aprox 4 weeks in flower and are realy healthy, I have one that is so indica dom its scary, the nod spacing is so tight you couldent get a mag glass in to sex it, but it is a female.
