.....got cut off ! I was excited to try to reverse my bruce banner and even made a little CS generator, however I doubt I will ever use it. I feel like discussing fems is akin to political or religious conversation. At any rate I will TRY to avoid using fems or selfed seeds. Ideally I would like to produce seeds that do not display the herm trait, by using XX females and always selecting breeding stock from pure XX offspring this should be possible. I am not at this point yet, but one has to keep goals and ideals straight.

SG's goblins all have the trait as well... it does get passed down the line...

you can either choose your cuts towards or against it to either clean it up or make it colorful...

Trogger, I'm actually trying to reverse my catpiss cut right now... S1's are certainly an important aspect to preserve the genetics of some of the rarer items...

My next male will (hopefully) Bubba kush. As I have just started some tester seeds from Verdant green. Should be really interesting , as I am also growing some of my OX f2's side by side. Very similar genetics. I will hold on to any OX males I get to use after the Bubba. And at this moment am harvesting my current seed crop ; all from my sweet tooth males (#3), crossed to the bruce banner, flo, headband, and to his sister (swt3).

my last rip I think my silver particles were too big... I used 27volts... gonna downgrade and give it another go... still got 5 ft of silver wire left... gonna actually use distilled water this time as well...

I decided ,with the bruce (my favorite) , instead of selfing , to find a similar line to cross with, The first idea I got was to use Strwberry D, since it is a parent of bruce, however decided to take it a further step , and will use lung candy , as it should be less deisely and more strawberry influenced , hopefully a bit less racy. fun times!

Do any of you guys have any nice literature you would recommend on the cannabis breeding subject? I have the Indoor Growers Bible by Jorge but was looking for something more. I remember seeing a nice looking copy on breeding that somebody posted on Instagram but can't remember the title. Any info is appreciated.

There is Absolutely nothing wrong with making fem seeds especially if you aren't working with tons of space. You don't have to waste time with males and as long as the females are stable u can exspect a stable strain. HERMS happen even with regular seeds so no matter what way you go FEMs or regs u could always wind up finding herm that appears out of no where.

Some flo-scout and blue ox pollen landed my way thanks brother will be putting this to good use! Will get some pics up of my new stud fire alien kush.

@ C4 - Banner #3, always wanted the 5, but cant ask for much better than the 3, I love her, smoke her ALL day and most of the night ! just need to preserve her. I bet that cross is great.
@ whodatis - my current favorite breeding book (pretty old,but very good) is Robert Clarke : Marijuana Botany, an advanced study. Makes it easy to understand difficult concepts and such, surely a great addition to your cannabis library ! The "Breeders bible is good too.

@mikenite69 that's a great cross to work with I've grown quite a few platinum cookie crosses and they have all been great and ChemD is a badass partner I got my eyes on some platinum cookie s1s hopefully my sniping skilled are sharp when they drop.

C4 I'm definately interested in some catpiss fems don't think I've seen that done before good luck.

Last one didnt work out so well... it was kinda small and my silver wasnt right...
this time I'm lettin the next one get rootbound in a solo cup first before I spray...

Just remember C4 u gotta spray for atleast 14 days or more u wanna spray until u see the plant switching over then stop. Spray 7 before flip and about 7 into flip and by usually the 15 to 16th day u will see the start of balls.

CBGB thanks and yes I hear ya that's why I hit my chem D with that plat pollen because I think that could produce a epic pheno. I have high hopes for this one because it seems to be a nice mix of both parents. U can see the chems birth mark in the leaves and chems structure but the leaves don't remind me of either parent. So my guess this will be a mix between the two.

I am also hopeful on my Cory stardawg x plat? Or glue? Now that I cloned it it's not showing the qaud trait and man does this thing speed through veg. The chem x plat is still a seed plant and my Cory x is a clone both seedlings were started at the same time but I have since thrown away the Cory seedling one I got a rooted clone and it's almost as tall as the Chem x plat seed plant. That is leading me to believe the cross was actually Cory x glue because it cruises through veg even in clone form.

yeah... I'm also gonna try to not make my silver at 10,000 ppms lol...
that last plant died a weird purple tinted death with so much silver residue on it that it tarnished...

Never ran Headband but have wanted too and have always read/seen great things about sweet tooth. All this Ox talk is new to me....off to them inter webs to figure out what's up.
