right on bro.
ok so is that a lower leaf on the ffa?if so i wouldnt sweat it quite yet as it might just not be gettin a bunch of light under the canopy...but if not, thats exactly why i said 1/2 nutes on the ffa until like week 3 bro,she dont like them right away...plus if i understand you right ur sayin you watered/fed 3 times in a row?if so dont do that anymore bro...i do like water,water,feed...etc...
one more thing bro, where you said you have the heat bein blown out at the top of the tarp, does light come in there during lights off?if so it can cause you all sorts of problems.light leaks are a big no no :nono:
hope some of this can help you bro.peace-T-

Let me clear some stuff up...

Light leaks are not present during dark periods, the flowering schedule is starting on Monday, for all 3 plants, regardless of veg status..

FFA: I flushed her when I got there and clipped some leaves off as some of them were brittle and looked burned. I gave all 3 plants normal water with 1 tb of Molasses, nothing more.
once to make sure it was not nutrient lockup
I think I made it seem like I watered the FFA 3 times? lol..
I watered it twice, sparingly.

a half gallon, all together, in 30 minute intervals, twice.
The tarp has water proof tape on the top and sides to prevent leaks, but since the schedule is 18/6 or 8:20am - 2am, light leaks are not too much of a problem, since the plants are literally on a day/night lighting schedule.

I'm very worried, because when I left, the plant seemed to be taking it's conditions hard... I have not given it a regular water, prior to yesterday, since my last post, stating I'd take pictures "tomorrow"

I hope this helps... I'm going to call my buddy and see what the status is today...

Update:

Jack: Good Shape

Sour Diesel: Doing the same, with new growth, so Good Shape

FFA: Leaves continue to brittle, 2 today, have nearly become brittle

Sigh... I hope I can nail the problem soon.. Else, I'm going to have to grab some clone gel and save her NOW, before shit get's worse. :joint:

That is a middle leaf, I believe...

this is a tough one, and I don't think any amount of homework will help you here. This is a learn by experience type of problem.
Let me ask you this, Noid..
What are you using for your ph up/down? If it is sulphuric acid based then get rid of it right away and go with the phosphuric based type up/down such as the kit from General Hydroponics.
*Don't use the kind of up/down used for aquariums.*
my pennies..

I think part of it may be due to the light being too strong, due to the space being too small for it.

I got 2nd advice on the light (600w) and was told, for the space I got, 400/450w is perfect.

I am going to buy something cool tomorrow. Some duct fans, clone gel, maybe some coco and hopefully, if they got it in stock, what I want to show you, for my next grow. (surprise!)

(always thinking ahead) For the most part, I'm going to flip 12/12 tomorrow... let's hope for the best, when I get there.

Edit: I also want to add; I don't use PH up or down... what is a good for what you are talking about?

Phosphuric Acid?

Also, Clonex any good for rooting clones?

If the FFA falls, I will at least have a couple of clones rooted in a week or two.

The only plant that seems to be doing good is the plant I raised from a squirt to what it is now... a little monster of overgrown, green goodness!

I won't give up until they flower or are completely dead, I am always trying new things, especially if there is a need to.
I don't really mess with the plant and my friend waters on command, but then again I am the one who waters them, simply because I know more or less what to do when compared to him.

I'll be back with more pics and another report tomorrow.. wish me luck on the clones and on a good report!

Here is some pictures of the new supplies I got, for the next grow. (already thinking ahead)

I also started a clone off the FFA, 2 days ago, from today.. Doing pretty well.
Was drooping yesterday, but it seems the rootech+humidity dome are working wonders.
Today the drooping has reversed.

Jack is Jack.. doing stupendous. (I'll have pictures in the next few days)

Sour Diesel has much new growth, burning, but still growing.. burning less.

Other than that, nothing much new... I transplanted my Baby Bellpepper and I am just waiting on signs of root growth to transplant the clone to soil.

I really hope I can get some nice pictures of some buds.. I notice I don't get very many visits.. shame.. I wish there was a section for the noob diaries, so we can get streamlined help.

Regardless, I am enjoying myself and if I mess up, I have the right information to make 2nd time a charm, to say the least!

grow lab?

Lets see that thing in action dude

How about some more pics of that FFA, see what is wrong with it. It looks almost like it has been overwatered...

Perhaps. But they get water every 3-4 days, depending on if the soil is dry.

FF LW seems to retain a lot of moisture. FFA started doing bad the moment I put her under the light, but whatever was happening I have either slowed it down or nipped it in the butt.

I'll know tomorrow.

Also, about the growlab... the recommended light wattage is 400w... so basically after this grow, I'll need to trade my 600w equips for a 400 watt equivalent. (and yes, I want a digital for my digital (ballast).

Edit: And another thing... the last time I was there, I fixed the fans positions and raised the light to the highest.
(I did this for the FFA, let's hope she's doing good when I get there)

Update: I am sick with the Valley Fever, well.. I am getting over it.

Tomorrow I plan to go over and take many photos of the plants.

I called my friend today and he said he watered them to the T of my instructions.

The FFA seems to have recovered and now all 3 plants are on their journey to flowering..!

Tomorrow I will also confirm or deny the phone report.. but he seems sure.

Wish me luck! :bis:

I will tell you more about the fever when I get home, for now, there is an emergency.

The plants are ALL fucking healthy. (excuse my french) and there is still one problem before I am out of the woods.. MOLD.

I caught the mold so damned early, as it's just fuzzy when seen at a certain angle in the light.

The mold seems to be affecting Jack hard, because she is smaller, bushier and it's harder for the light to penetrate the cannopy.

I slightly remedied this by proping her up on blocks, i'm going to wash the room again, I clipped the rest of the dead leaves on all 3, all 3 are thrivin'like Milon.

Is Neem oil good for mold? It's not white yet, it's barely noticeable, but I want to take care of this before it spreads.

I know if my green bros recommend me the oil, I will get it the moment I see! I know to mix it with warm water so that it does not clog sprayer.
I also know to do it during dark period or turn the lights out, spray and then wait till they dry(?)
That may cause stress, however... I don't know wtf... I am just bothered by the mold issue.

Once I get this taken care of, there is no other issues.

Leaves on all 3 are prominent

Dark green hues on all 3 are visible

Accelerated growth on all three

Another reason why I think the mold appeared is because my friend didn't turn on the fan high enough when the timer went on..

The problem with the fan that I have in the corner of the space, is that when the time turns on the lights, the fan has to be turned on manually.

I really need to reach for your help.. I will be around, checking back, while cleaning up the space. (resanitizing)

P.S: I'll have pics when I get home, I'm not on my computer at the moment.
:wallbash:

It's a very good thread and they all have good insight as to what to use and how often. Wonderful. The choices make it hard for me to pick, though. The peroxide seems like something promising. (3%)

I would like more opinions on what I should use, before making a choice.

Edit: Would an Ozone bulb be a viable option?

peroxide works like a charm bro,it will leave a light spot where the p m was but it will work overnight....another thing you should note is that if you got p m it may have been because you didnt llet the soil dry all the way out before watering this can lead to mildew too...
also from what i know about pwdery mildew is its in the plant membrane and will kepp coming back ,you will need to keep treating them...im pretty sure anyways do a search to double check me but im pretty positive im tellin ya right.peace-T-

also increase the air circulation. I have allot of air movement in my flower room. I use 1 of those Air King fans and it blows big time. Fresh air intake on a 6"inline and 1 10" for 2 600w cooltubes.

wish I could help, but never had the powdery stuff myself, although through reading, I would have to agree with Tona and Hammerhead..

Fan circulation is fine, temps are fine at around 74-78 w/ 50% humidity

All plants are doing 100%!

I sprayed them all with peroxide and washed the entire space with it too, around and under the pots, the floor, the floor leading outside the space and all around the space, outside.

Also, I don't have a picture good enough to dedicate, but perhaps I can whip one up once flowering kicks into high-gear, since Trichome photography is sort of my cup-o-tea!
