YwoulntI...I just bought a fish tank pump.@ $10.00...5" round airstone@$4.00...a lid to a 5 gallon bucket..@..$1.50, net pot..@.$3.00, and some clay balls...@.$10.00....I also bought a sample pack of nutes..@ $15.00

So for my first attempt at hydro it cost me.....about $43.00...give or take...
I don't have a ph....I just feed them as I would if they were in soil....seems to be working...that thing is huge...and sucks up the water!!!

see i have a starter set up i bought to play with a while back ago just never hooked i up yet...i got the balls two pop on net pots the pop on any 5 gallon buckets.some airpumps and hose.i need the airstone and some hydro nutes and can run it...so urs just sits in the bubbling water?no draining into a res or nothin? thats what i was gonna try but i didnt know if it would work.how did you put the hose thru into yhe bucket?or did ya just drill a hole in the lid and feed it thru there?

yep just bubbles....topped off when needed....I changed it when I flipped her to 12/12...I'll prolly change the water a few times at the end...I just wanted to test it...and I'm totally impressed by the size of this plant...way different than the soil...

On a Good note with this chick...Meeting her for drinks in like 1-1/2hrs...HELL YEA!!....
It was smooth as shit....We were working and I was acting like I was having chest pains(I know not funny). She asked what was wrong...I said"I think I'm having a heart attack"...she said, "why are you having a heart attack?"...I went on to say that you have chest pains when someone has the other half of your heart.(hehe)...she got really red in the face, smiled real big..then left for the day....DOH!!
So, when I got home I called her up and asked her out...again...this time she said yes..(so far)....
