I ve already done this. If you check the first photos youll find the fan just right of the light
Stick a chopstick in around the plant, say an 2 inches or so and make a bunch of deep holes. That will help alot.
You can lower those lights to 12 inches away or so unless it feels too warm against your hand.

Plants are 3 weeks old.Aint any fear of damaging the roots by sticking the soil? Also if i lower the light to 12 inch they ll fry for real
...This is the companies guidelines for the light to plant distance :- Keep your Electric Sky 36"-60" inches away from your seedlings, or when introducing the lights to an existing grow. For your dimming setting: I recommend starting your light at 50% intensity, which will help you save power, and ramping it up slowly as long as your plants look healthy.
- Let your plants grow for 2 weeks and leave the light and intensity where it is. After you increase the light to 100%, begin to drop the light 1" - 3" every few days until you reach the sweet spot of 18 - 24" for veg. When you have more grows under your belt, you can experiment with getting the light closer and dimming it down. For your first grow, it's best to understand how your plants respond at full power, you'll run into less problems this way when moving into flower.
- Back off the light 6"-12" if you see any signs of light stress. Signs of light stress include yellowing, bleaching, or drooping leaves. Most often when you see your plants get a little yellow, this means stress. Backing the light off for a week or so will help your plants recover.
