I want to have a go at growing Sativa Seedbank's Eldorado and Full Moon together in a LST/SCROG set up. I realize both strain like to stretch. My grow tent is small 1M2 (or 3x3ft) and I grow in coco under 9 Vero29 LED COBs (=600w HPS).
Is this area too small for both plants? I could restrict growth by using small pots to contain the roots as suggested by Motaco in his "Revival of the ultimate sativa" thread (his main interest was growing for seed).
Perhaps I shouldn't be greedy and just grow 1 good sized plant?
Or as JJF1978 on Rollitup suggests taking clones, veg until plant has 5-6 nodes, cut at 2nd true node, wait a week then put into 12/12?
Any suggestions are most welcome. I want totake advantage of the coming summer as I think bother strains would like the heat.
Hi there! And excuse me for not seeing your post earlier.
I can't give you an advice as I'm not an indoor grower. However, I think you can fit 2 plants in there, you'll just veg them less. Both strains are not wild landraces, so they are fairly compact and quick-flowering for sativas, I think they are just a bit more challenging than the common hybrids.
Good luck! 5 years later, I still have good memories from Full Moon, I hope they haven't changed the strain for the worse.
