Ok... cool... 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place breeders cup results seem to have less meaning knowing that... At least there were enough sativas in the Growers cup to allow an actual contest to take place...

No worries... I'll make sure that there is at least one more breeder entry in each category next year... I think Rez has promised to enter next years as well... If a couple more smaller breeders enter as well, we could have a real contest on our hands next year!

I'll enter when ive done some breeding (like 10000 plants or so) but until that its all growers cup for me, there should be a "closet breeder or independent breeder" class anyway in my opinion...

Thanks for the pics THC, much appreciated, and thanks for letting me sample your samples, I too think that mnost of the sativas weren't sativa enough for my tastes, but I'm a sativa loving freak.

TrueCannabliss, congrats on the win, I really enjoyed meeting you, Hazy, THC, and loads of others, that was the best thing about the Cup.

I think I might be goign to Telford too, anyone else?

Yes I do think so...is a valid suggestion.

Part of making an event successful and progressive is listening to suggestions and taking those which we (the organizer/sponsor) feel have merit and applying them.

When someone else kicks out over 20k euros to pay for the event, then they can have final say in how it's run....however, we are always open for suggestions.

I would really like to enter a pure sativa, or very near pure in the Cup next year, probably in the breeder's category as I'm working on a Colombian Gold x Zamal cross (just lost my F1 plants though, so I've been setback a few months), and am waiting to try out some of the Colombian Gold x Grapefruitbowl backcrossed to the CG beans I just made, and a bunch of others such as CG x an old Positronics Thai/Afghan and CG x Malawi Gold.

The SSH was a great smoke, I bought a few grams of SSH in a few different coffeeshops, all were excellent, I had some very good frosty stuff with huge calyxes from De Kuil on the last day having a final smoke before the flight with THC4SIM, the other coffeeshop standouts of this trip for me were the very lemony, high and uplifting Diesel (must have been from the Sour side) from Dutch Flowers, some Licourice tasting very stony Peacemaker, the Mako Haze at Dampkring, some superb brick pressed Jamaican that was sensimilla and very sticky when broken up and fruity tasting from Prix D'Ami. Honourable mention must go to Soma's Lavender and Amnesia Haze from Dampkring and Yellow Cab from Grey Area, all excellent as always. Never made it up to Katsu this time, too many blisters on my feet!

i did not find my mates till i got to the airport!!
and i ended up missing my flight!!!! not the first time!!, so i did not end up flying back till sunday the next day....
