Really nice grow setup you have there.
If you solution is to bend the all tops to promote the side shoot to grow, I'd go for it (IMHO).

I don't have room to bend the tops but maybe I'll try some of that anyway since it does give more light to the plant. I was thinking I could just lower the shelf I've got the grow on, I have the ballast and some pots and stuff beneath but I'll find another place for it. But I'll see what works

OK so they have stopped streching.. now 4 weeks in flowering. The buds have started showing real promise.. I feed with Canna Flores (2-4-4) and PK 13-14.

All three plants have real great buds growing. Even the 2 crappy ones ;D

I admit I photoshopped some of the pics but I don't like the yellow from the HPS-light and I haven't had the opportunity to take pics when the lights go out (yet).

Temps are stable around 25C and rh is between 40 and 50%.

Buds are stocking up nice

What's temps like in there...few of the cola leaves look a little warm
The 2 bottom pics in particular.

HPS can be a pain in the butt with some cameras. Sometimes cameras even have special settings for taking pictures under red light spectrums.
With photoshop or any other image editing app...you'll be able to regain some of the natural colour of the subject back...but never the background lighting.

TML16: thanks for the input! temps are stable at 25C (77F).. either the strain is very sensetive to heat or it has a severe mg-def. I'm not really interested at fixing it, just happy they give some bud.

Ok, so a few days ago (maybe a week) I saw a seed forming in a bud... didn't think much of it since it was just one seed and I haven't noticed any maleflowers so I just thought "Oh I'll get a seed or 2 or 20... but not more since there is probobly just one small maleflower somewhere... "

Now there are seeds everywhere... I've tried to find the source but it's really hard... I guess this is the punishment for not caring enough about the unknown bushweed plant... The stress finally got to it and now it's going haywire spreading pollen around....

*sigh* well they still look good and the buds are still swelling..

It was my CSxHS that went hermie on me. I found a couple of bananas (wide open thuogh) among the bottom popcorn-buds.

Week 6 and still looking good.







The unknown bushweed (balkan weed seeds) looks big but a lot of it are leaves not bud... hopefully it'll still taste sweet.






Didn't get any good pics of my Skunk Special but they are covered in trics, really nice to get a look at it in my 30x. Most of the trics are still clear but the CSxHS has a lot of milky ones allready.

bum deal bout the nanners...I'm having same issues right now too
Last run with bagseeds for me!

Not that big a deal though...so you get a few seeds here and there. As long as the bud is still good, you'll still have made out on the plus side

The buds are looking good...looks like you're in for a decent enough harvest, I'm sure you'll be happy :smile:

Yeah I'm interested to, I didn't think 250w could give such big buds I've grown with 600w HPS and 375w (3x125w) CFL's before. The grams/watt should be higher than any of my previous grows

The trichs are forming beautifully... I've given the last nutes a couple of days ago and just can't wait the last week so I've allready tried out one of the really small buds from the lower branches.

10 May will be my x-mas this year even look forward to getting all sticky and having to cut leaves for an hour ;D
