It's day 16 and almost all of them have roots popping out of the bottom already. that's in my crappy set up where i can't close the doors so tons of light escapes :doh: hehe. anyway, i just ordered some supplies (this time I won't build while high on hash oil >_<). I can't wait to see how my babies grow in optimum conditions

It does not matter if light escapes if you have the lights on 24 hours. I have my veg box on 24 hours right now. My flower box needs to be dark, so I check and double check.

I don't have the lights on 24 hours, I have them on 18/6. The reason the light escaping is a problem is because it slows down the growth. When the closet doors are closed all the light bounces around and is used by the plants so they grow faster; hence, i can't wait until i'm able to close my closets, so i can see those rosebud babies groooow

Well this would be were I have to disagree with you, the amount of light you would be reflecting back is pretty small, and probably about a 10 of the original light. Although it would make the overall atmosphere brighter, I think any sizable increase by keeping the door completely lightproof would not be noticed or even present.
Now, light getting in during your dark period is possibly the worst case scenario for not having lightproofed

well, speaking from experience--that experience being first witnessing how much faster my plants grew when i left the doors closed on accident, and then trying it again to see if it was actually what caused the growth, and it was--i'm going to have to disagree with YOU

got some new pots and transplanted most of my plants. still need a few more pots though ~_~.

got some visqueen also, gonna redo my closets very soon.

I want to throw one of my clones into 12/12 so i can have some bud to smoke and put more money into my grow room and less into the hands of med clubs. So, I was hoping you guys could point out which one you think is ready for 12/12. I hear Shiva is a heavy yielder, so i'm leaning towards one of those.

One of my 12/12 from bagseed's has a cute little bud growing . I'll take pics of it tomorrow. it's night night time for her right now.

The taller ones look ready.
I would start them off with a 1/2 strength or something like that, just to get them ready, make sure you soak them, lots of run off. Get all the soil full of the mix

wow so i take it your shipment arrived? lookin good on pretty much everything. im jealous of how many strains you have going on haha. it seems as though you're going to be set for a very successful next couple of months!
btw, i realized i was still over watering at once every other day because all my plants are in 3 gal containers.

weee i'm excited! and yes inverse i got my stuff.

So, i'll be using 6-4-4 Grow Big 1/4 strength to start off with on 2 clones. Grow big 1/2 on another 2 clones. Grow Big 1/4 strength + Big Bloom (0.01 - 0.3 - 0.7) 1/4 strength on 2 clones for right now. i'll leave the rest unfed and let the plants tell me what they like best .

as you can see the stems are purple/red.. the tips of leaves are curling..AHHHG!!

yesterday, I watered and fed 1/4 Grow Big to:
black master & Shiva #3, Abusive #2, Og #1, GDP. everyone else seems the same 'cept black master who seems to have gotten worse..

Red stems are normally indicative of nute lock out
Best way to cure that is to feed them small doses of nutes with a good flushing IMO
I can see what looks like nute burn on the curled yellow tips, the other spots it is hard to tell, could be nute splash, but it looks like you may need some cal mag.
Once the soil dries out try feeding them a good flush of clean water, see if that helps ya at all

good, yeah you have to watch nutes with new plants. I have a few that about 5 week old and seem to burn with the slightest nutes, very annoying but it is only the tips, the rest seems ok. It is a new strain so I am not sure if it is just the strain, but I feed them all the same thing
Part A and B veg ferts
Liquid Karma
Bud Blood
The other plants are just fine, just the strain called heavenly hash. So I believe that each strain has it's own limits to what it wants, but I tend to use 1/4 strength nutes every 2 or 3 watering right at the beginning.
As they get bigger I will feed them 2 out of 3 waterings and keep that up until, I am ready to flush them. By that point though they are getting full nutes
