I really didn't mean to hurt the plant, I'd just totally forgotten it was inside the computer when i was punching it
I felt so bad afterwards; I killed my little buddy!!
well guys, here's my problem. the temp in the garage is about 85 degrees, 90 when the dryer is running.
there is a wall seperating my garage in to two sections, one is 1/3rd the size of the other section, and that's where i'll be growing.
anyway, that section only has one window, and to leave it open would be a security risk. Does anyone have any suggestions on cooling the place down?
good idea. I'll check craigslist for some good deals. ug, but this means i can't start these plants on 12/12 :\. i'll have to wait until my next paycheck ~_~
are you planning on doing that soon, I would not recommend it, way too early yet, you have to wait till there are lots of roots, almost so it is getting root bound, that way it stay together when you take it out of that pot, the last thing you want to do, is take it out too early, all the soil falls off
oh no, I definitely wasn't planning on transplanting soon, thanks for the concern though
I believe I read I should wait until the 2-3rd week. I'm just wondering when that time comes, how should I go about removing them from their individual containers.
I'll be using plastic cups next time so this shouldn't be a problem again
When I do the small seedling trays I will just pull them out gently, while I have the tray upside down, cupping the plants gently in you r hand, I have also used a butter knife to pry them out
Well, I see another seedling trying to sprout. It seems like it's hunched over, as if it's head and roots were in the grown, and I could see it's arched back. (my camera is charging or i'd take pics). Anyway, I was wondering if I'd be doing harm if I try to help the little bugger get free; what do you think?
one more question, when I transplant all the little ones, do they need to go in to the same soil they've been growing in or can I put them in a new soil (I bought some FFOF the other day)?
Yeah that would make sense, but let your soil nearly dry out before feeding them in their new homes, that forces the roots to stretch out in search of food. Bigger roots= bigger buds.
