The Fire OG cut PNC has is not the real "R" OG?

And the Tahoe OG cut PO has is not the real Tahoe OG?

I feel like swerve saying this crap, but I just got both of these from these places and they are not what they should be...

Seems like somebody muddied the waters with some CC gear...

I think I may have pinned down the "LA Confidential." Based on every image I've seen it looks like an African sativa. Particularly in flower, it looks like a Kenyan sativa, though its been crossed with something like swazi as the leaves are that circular shape with 13 fingers.

So now we have to name it and I was thinking "Obama" made sense. Why? It's possibly Kenyan.

pnc has or at the very least had both the tahoe and fire cut. that much i can vouch for, cuz i was told by the person who gave them to him. as far as mixups, mislabeling etc..i dont know...but i know he has access to them.
i can also say i have sampled voodoo's meds, and i assumed it was the cut because the aroma when squeezed was what i recognized as fire. nice job by the way

I have never gotten anything from PNC but every strain that I have been gifted thru them is not what it is suppose to be. I know the Tahoe I got ended up being Green Crack...not from PNC but still...I'm not complaining(too much) but I would really like to grow and smoke the Tahoe...

Voo that sat is something crazy...I hope you are wrong and its a nice long haze...then again I hope you are right...I got some shots of the urban durban in flower...I gotta clean up the shots(HPS Glow sucks) but I am tired...been working on the the bug for the last 6 hours so I will post them tomorrow morning.

uh oh...here we go again w the r thing....lemme just say this, ...if i had a cut that i was depending on to make money, and i had put the time in to hype the cut etc that he has...and then someone i worked w leaked the cut to one person...who gave it to a few other guys....a couple of which happen to post online....and i was worried i was not gonna make as much money as i would if i were the only one who had the cut...i might spend a bit of time trying to convince others that they had fakes ....EDIT:and i aint hating the playa or the game..it is what it is...
...that being said...i certainly wasnt handed this cut by r and if both dudes whos earnings(in thier minds) depend on the exclusivity of thier cuts want to tell me, again, that the cuts i have are not the same as they have, then i would be morally and karmically free to make seeds with "my" cuts and do whatever i wanted...donating seeds for free as an example...or sellin seeds as another....sooooo i kinda hope i have fakes...just in case...

btw the reason that i posted this was that i was calling the spot for a while asking when the real SFV was coming back (the CC knockoff was admittedly carried there for a solid month exclusively) i got called back and i had one on hold for me (+ 1 for customer service) when i picked her up i was still pessimistic and asked a lot of questions. unfortunately the responses were unconvincing, more like my questions came as a surprise. anyway, i have been comparing the veg picx from my other grows and although not a definitive method i am noticing a stark contrast.

my thought is that the real SFV is now semi0permanatly replaced with the CC version.

...just saying.

Looking good. I worked with this strain a lot some years back and think you'll find it better to train/prune her aggressively and not let her run so wild. I'd get rid of the bottom half and train for tops. I do not have the pictures, the sequence is on another forum, but I used to flower at no more than 18", I had 6' ceilings and went with 6-9 plants per 3' x 3' tray, and clean them up good at 2 weeks into flower. Some called it the Pistil Whipt method but it was developed independently of what he created. Basically I would leave about 5 growing tips/branches per plant, with only a few nodes on each branch and actually remove a lot of the fan leaves but mainly the lower ones as those would get covered up once the canopy filled in anyway. They kind of looked liked skeletons after cleaning up and when I was taught this way thought my friend destroyed the plants. Then let her flower for about a week more then weave into a trellis piecing it together like a puzzle trying to shoot for one top per 6" squared or a little denser. She has a very supply stem/branch structure. Then she'd stretch out of the trellis and you end up with a lot of tops sticking out of the canopy and a nice secondary floor of buds around the level of the trellis. A bit hard to explain and would only do this in hydro. I had a side shot of the canopy as I was cutting into it and a nice fat layer about 1' thick of buds. I got her up to 1 lb per 600 in an open system with GH 3 part.

I let her go pretty wild once and what a mess...lol. The yield was still there but a lot more smaller, less dense buds and toughest trim job I ever had. You train/prune her right and one of the easiest trim jobs ever.

I was seriously debating that it was simply just a haze, but the flowering doesn't quite match and the leaves in veg would be all wrong. Then I stumbled my way through the entire african and south america strain library threads they have here and found these two pics:
