Alien Dawg(cherry) grand finale. Pics are @ just under 8 weeks. I'm pretty impressed with this cut though it will need to face the jury to pass the true test. As for the aroma, If you don't have cotton mouth already you will after laying your nostrils into her sticky flowers. Smells like sweet sourdough glazed with a dab of honey-mustard. Not as cherry as some of the other lines I have run but fruity none the less. Definitely worth a run in anyones garden but lacks the vigor of her sister cut 'Ether' which also surpasses her in resin content and yield. If given the choice I would lean towards the ether cut as a better example of the genetics at play here. Another note, this cut is heavily variegated, which I believe to be genetic and not the result of an active viral infection.

... i will give it a shot...first smell is offensive..even when you know your gonna recoil a lil, you still do...then, after you get used to it, almost becomes sweet...smelling gas gives you an idea of how your sinuses and tear ducts will react, though not as severe..haha..i dont get the lemon candy that you hear so much about, but the sour i used to associate with sour lemon candies comes thru...combines w a funk that you can imagine at one time resembled road kill, but was mellowed out by the afore mentioned sweet/sour/gas...ive smelled it in other diesel lines...the only strain that beats it in my opinion is sitting right above this post(sourdub) and by beats it, i mean just flat out stronger...then anything...haha..i still prefer that greasy reekiness of the ECSD to the straight out assault of sourdub...no other strains ive grown touvh these two...some have thier own strengths..og's, chem, albert...but i love REEEEEEEEK
...im fascinated by this subject...the chem d mama has it, the cherry got it but the ether didnt...it has been passed in my growroom to a cut i had of the madness, let it go and replaced her instead of cloning...i assume because i used the same blades to clone, which i dont do anymore...im just sooo happy to see she only seemed(chem) to pass it on to some of the offspring...the only issue ive seen with this variegation is if your ph goes out of whack, the affected plant never seems to recover..half the plants in the tent were affected, the chem d i was running at the time(very vigorous plant/strain) was the only one that didnt recover..

yeah my madness mom got it so i let her go figuring someone in sd i think GT or Shan has her uninfected. i don't use the beans i made from her for another two years per also i think GT. that's why i don't send the madness into the server fund.
on another note. talked to Voo the other day and he was telling me of a strain that it taking 21 plus days to root, my valley was like that when i got it 6 plus weeks. now that i've had her near six months i took a cut threw it in water and it rooted over the weekend. less then 5 days....

I was making oil till I got some bags, the return from the bags was huge compared to making oil

I did 5 zip-lock sandwich bags stuffed with only sugar leaf and got 12 grams dry from 3 runs

Not really worth it on bags?? 8oz gets 15 grams.....I bought 1/2 gram of UK cheese for 30 bucks!!!!!!!! thats right 30 for a 1/2 gram, holy shit.....Is it worth it????? Oh Im faded.....Go SD!
