TalktoSampson - Amazing grow so far, all your plants look fantastic. I always love watching your boost grow, how is the mold factor on that plant? The Sweet tooth always molded on me in my environment, hope it leans more to the blueberry in that department. Keep killin it!

Thanks stagger, Boost is not my own cross but it comes from within my family of friends and we hold her close! Kinda sucks indoors but thrives outside, I think the blueberry in her heritage makes her so hearty in the home state. I do do the fim as well on my taller plants and indoors, but especially in these round smart pots, I think the sideways plant really makes the most use of space.

I held off a week planting due to cold temps, I know some friends whos starts got devastated on the last big freeze a week ago. Mine just went out yesterday, so they are ok...a little pissed since it frosted last night but its 81 right now as I write this post, so 90% are looking green and perky.

Good to see you again OB, Boost is a champion, never seen her get mold or PM even. For me and those who grow her in cali, its done long before it even thinks about raining or getting damp/humid so its never been an issue. This is the most boost ive ever grown at once, In really going to try and dial her in, see what she really want/needs.

Subbed for the sheer size of those pots and beds

Thanks for stopping by. Yes the plants in beds should have 350 gallon of dirt each to run and play in, im expecting real good things out of them.

Looking great samson! I got some sfv og too.. you ever run her outdoors before?

No never have but have run her indoors. Seems to be a better yielding OG

Awesome! Would love to run the boost one year in the future. You know that mark of a good farmer is somebody that preserves strains in seed form, hint hint,. I hope you get her dialed in this year, although it looked pretty dialed last year. Always room for improvement, keeps us competitive. Enjoy this next span of good weather, I know the bay area is set for a very nice week ahead.:tiphat:

Not a seed shall ever grace the branches of my boost, if I have anything to do with it, but I'm sure a little lady wouldent mind returning to California where she was born.....

Well...after all that time spent and anticipation, the ladies are plugged, finally. Well all but 8 are done. Made one small change since the last update. The first bed I built was too damn big, It was getting filled with new soil and once I did the math it was going to take 1000 gallons of soil for 2 plants. So I tore it down and made it a 3 yard bed, or 600 gallons of soil. Im getting the last yard of it tomorrow and plating the black cherry soda in there.

Looking good. I see the Mycos and Liquid Karma, sure would be interested in knowing your nutrient schedule, or do you use mixed in nutrients?

I amend with a 3-2-2 chicken manure. High n cow manure a.d earth worm castings. That gets them through transplant and 2-3 weeks. After that I use a 10.5-3-1 bat guano and catalyst by earth juice to make tea and that keeps them green and healthy through veg. Also some 3-2-2 age old organics seaweed.

For flower I feed a lit of age old bloom, fox farm big bloom and molasses. My dirt has been aged a few years now and the plants really never show me signs of micronutrients deficiencies.

I love fox farm big bloom the product, but don't you have to use a ton on outdoor monsters? I would think one feeding would cash a bottle.

Yea I grab a few 5 gallon bottles of it at the beginning of the season and only mix up the big bloom early and late in flower, to try to reduce some of the extreme cost involved.

Evening Photo Shoot

Two of my favorite plants/spots on the property. Takes them until about 9am to get light but when the rest of the yard is dark at about 6 pm, these two ladies rage on in full sun well into 7:30.

Boost Beds Finally Planted

Boost Beds Finally Planted

Boost beds were finally planted tonight. I had an outbreak of BM in my clone room and had to tear down and re clone my boost a little late so they are going out around 14" tall. Trust me though these little ladies will blow up and fill these beds full of frosty dank nuggets.

Hope everyone has plants as happy as mine right now, its 90 degrees, they are loving their new homes in the amended dirt! Looks like my no till method is working well so far, everyone is green and healthy after being in for a week or so.

Oregon born and raised. I love it here and I will never leave.

Yep, same here.

And crikey, its HOT today. 85 degrees at 4:30 pm in "BridgeTown" (aka, Portland), and its supposed to go higher before evening.

I would bet my farm that those Iranian/Ghost OG BX1s and especially the IR/OG outcrosses would yield hella poundage in those big beds of yours. Food for thought, anyway -- maybe next year.

I've pulled up a comfy chair to keep tabs on your garden so as not to miss the bud and plant PORN.

Super good work you're doing. Your Boost variety sounds wonderful, and of course Blue Magoo is always THE winner. I just lost my Blue Magoo mom in February -- still crying over it.

Some stellar cannabis genetics have come out of Oregon, for sure.

Every time I look in this thread I feel like that kid from a viral video years ago, that was bombed out of his mind on meds in the backseat coming from the dentist....
"Is this real life?"
The trees that are about to grace this thread are the stuff I dream about.
Good Luck & Karma to your garden for 2013.
