@ 12x7' sounds like you want a 24x 30' tarp to be safe
7feet high on either end means 14' + 12' long = 26' so make that 30'

a circle
with a 7' diameter would make a circumference of over 21'.. not sure what shape your gh is, straight walls with a peak or more like a hoop house......
you could run a string from one wall to the other (not the ends) and then just measure the string..or you can measure from the top down to the bottom of one wall and double that measurement and add a couple feet to account for bricks etc.
Not sure if that helped or not, im kinda confused myself, but that might be the dabs..
