I erased a paragraph that explained an eviction I went through. Hopefully knowing that might make the rest of the content make sense.


One of the decisions that needed to be made were to harvest the OHSK phenos. The reason for that is because I had two patients that felt the need to venture other places, so I have to reduce numbers so I am not breaking the law. And I believe that both of these plants were approx. 7-14 days away from where I was thinking about harvesting anyways. I have harvested only pheno C so far and here she is. Harvested over 75% of this plant on day 100 of flower and the rest on days 98-99.

The trichs are over 90% milky with 20-25% having amber stalks. 2/3 of the hairs have turned to a very true red color and she has a sweet yet musky smell to her. The yield looks to be more than acceptable with room for improvement. I will post the dry yield and a smoke report after a month+ of curing.

I do apologize to everyone who was wanting to see these go a little longer. I still need to take pheno D down, which btw smells like lemons and is the true keeper imo of the two. I plan to grow each one out again and flower the male also. It just will be at another facility.

I used the 73(top) and 25(bottom) micron bags. Both are pretty intense. Just flat out rips me.

Smoke report for pheno C-30 day cure
Sample size-.7 grams

Smell:
For the majority of the cure so far, pheno C has emitted a strong hay smell. When I opened the jar, to get a tester, I noticed that the hay scent has drastically reduced and the musky smell it once possessed is now returning. When I broke the bud open all I smelled was a sweet, musk odor. Its obvious that she needs at least 30 more days in the jar before her true scent is revealed.
Rating for smell-6.5/10

Taste:
The first hit was smooth. It was warm on the throat, not burning, but more like the feeling of warm soup or coffee minus the taste. No expansion in the lungs that I noticed and the exhale revealed the taste. The taste nearly mimics the smell, sweet and musky. Honestly, it tastes pretty good and holds the flavor throught the whole bowl. It was a pleasure to smoke.

Potency:
I took the second toke almost immediately after I exhaled the first, and this is where I will try not to confuse anyone. As I was exhaling my second hit, I thought to myself that maybe I should wait a minute to see if I was feeling it yet. The thought didnt even exit my mind and I had my answer. Yes I was. I felt a slight heaviness in my chest and and a slight twinge behind my eyes. The immediate sense of relaxation was not what I expected, but still welcomed. Towards the end of the bowl, I noticed that my sense of sight, hearing and touch were extremely heightened. And I got a sudden urge to go outside. I was focused, creative, happy and extremely social. I didnt feel anxious or twitchy, a huge plus. My thoughts were clear and every interaction I had with anyone felt more natural than usual. The body high lasted about 2 hours and left me feeling refreshed. The mental clarity lasted quite a bit longer, around 4 hours. An incredibly unique type of high compared to anything I have experienced. A motivating sativa high that evens out the body, absent the anxious or paranoia issues. This is very much the effect that I was looking for. Slightly better than I was anticipating.

Side Notes:
It burned very well. I probably got 12-15 hits off the bowl. My tolerance is fairly high, so I was happy that I was content from such a small amount. Nothing, not even physical activities, diminished the high. It remained consistent throughout. Some medicinal qualities were present (relief from nerve pain and inflamation). I will do another report on day 60 of the cure.

Overall-7.5/10 pushing 8.


A slight tolerance build up, but still pleasant to smoke. Holds solid at 7.5/10. I would assume a higher rating with a more fully matured grow.(if that makes sense)

I ran these on a 12/12 photoperiod the whole way through. I would like to try an 11/13.

Pheno D, harvested on day 98 of 12/12.

Here is pheno D. I just cant find anything so far that I dislike about this plant. She smells amazining; lemons, citrus, with undertones of hash and a slight skunk smell. Overwhelming lemon scent that I can taste when I smell a bud. The trichomes are stacked and the flowers leave a oily residue on my hands everytime I touch them(which I avoid doing as much as possible). Almost 75% of the hairs have turned to a reddish-brown color and the trichs are at about 20% amber. The trichs are turning straight from clear to amber, there is very few milky trich heads. I think, just like pheno C, it would have been more ideal if able to go another 14 days.

Still, I am happy with this grow as it stands. Things could have went a lot worse. The future runs with these along with some NH and doing some test breeding will be fun. I still have the OHSK male, which is similar in many ways to this pheno(D) and emitts a crazy, strong smell everytime a rub the stalk or simply remove a leaf. This was an experience grow and I feel to have learned a lot.

Pheno D was the bud that was hanging down in a certain pic. It was tied to the cieling. The only place the branches wanted to give on either pheno were where they met at the stalk. I cant believe how flexible these branches were. Sativas are very flexible plants.

Pheno D produced.13.5 ounces and had potential for a little more.

After another slight tolerance build up, I would have to keep it at an 8.5/10 overall. With a more mature plant, could have a shot at that 9 rating.

Visual:
I realize that I forgot to rate pheno C in this catagory, but pheno D wont let it slip my mind twice. The trichomes are beautiful. They really make the colors of the bud stand out. Red, orange and green are the primary colors. But with the trichomes stacked like they are, the colors are very bright. Hints of blue reflect off the bud when the light hits it just so. She earned a good rating from me here.

Smell:
Lemon mixed with pine. A slight musky/skunk undertone, but overall a very sweet scent. Its refreshing! Simply put, she smells f***** awesome.
Rating for smell-9(an instant personal favorite for me)

Taste:
The first 5-6 hits have a distinct lemon flavor with an earthy undertone when inhaling. On the exhale, purely the "lemon" flavor. Makes my mouth water and taste stays for while afterwards. Its a little warm on the throat and no expansion, still it gets a few coughs out of me on every hit. The second half of the bowl produced a more earthy flavor with a citrus(lime) undertone. It tastes like a better version of SLH. There is fullness to Sams Lemon Haze.

Potency:
First hit went straight to my temples. The second made my jaw start to tingle. Every hit went straight to my head and just ripped me by mid-bowl. Im actually having a hard time writing this report Its heavy stuff! Still, good smoke for anytime of the day. Improves mood and relieves inflamation. Good stress relief smoke, good chill weed. The high lasts a long time and it stimulates the appetite.

Side Notes:
Everyone I have shared this with has had nothing but good things to say. The smell and taste alone win people over. Not a Haze effect, its strong though. A definite keeper.

Ditto, except I havent popped any. Id definately be interested in hearing other experiences with this strain. A 20+ week flower is going to take some planning.

It's great to hear that some folks are going to give them a try. I had to scar mine to get them to germinate. Other than that, it was my favorite grow experience to date. I'm going to do a second run here soon. I think that its going to be even better. I'm always looking for more of these beans.
