Looking good bro.

Did you run out of soil as many pots only half 2/3 full ?

Where needed
As your aware All mix is very airy
especially after watering
So kinda like this when topping up 😀

Yeah I mostly grow coco but forget soil is airy and does sink when watered in first run.
I got some soil plants going myself this run and excited to test them next to the coco plants.

going to be some real nice 1's from the 2 strains your running , multiple winners found in every Original Diesel S1 pack we run

It’s interesting that you brought the Coco up,,
Chatting in the grow shop the other day about switching over to Coco and I’m pretty sure you and I have discussed it before ,,
I like the idea of having a rest from the soil after decades of using it and practicality of the Coco appeals as well,,
It seems the Coco is more hands on and is as forgiving as soil ,, which is a bonus also,,,
Cheers ✌️

Yeah only thing is you will need to water everyday instead of every 3-4 days and use more bottled nutrients .
But defo offer quicker growth and Higher Yield and can use smaller pots , you could use 6 litre pots.

If you spend time daily with your plants, coco is a great option.
Do read up a bit about buffering and the issues with K+ and Ca+ before you do so.

Yes @Maria Sanchez this super important indeed, you must pre charge the pots with a decent ec to avoid lockout,a mix of grow and bloom feeds is best and quite high, maybe 2 ec....water to run off everyday and watch them crazy growth rates...you really must try it @944s2 bro,you will be amazed...i love soil growing but you really can push numbers big time with the coco

indeed mate, here we use 7 litre pots,5 day veg from rooted clones, then flip and you still get normal size plants akin to a 2/3 week veg in soil but with more yield, crazy

What sort of yield per plant you get with that bimble?

Coco is handy cos it’s easier to dispose of..
getting between about 37 to 56 per plant in the 7's with 16 per 600w led in 1.2 smq.. very cultivar dependent but even at the 37 ish mark you are hitting a gram per watt and the 1.5 is easy to achieve with the right cut...you can veg for longer and top for more yield of course but i like to think in terms of a year and how much flower can i churn out in that time and the low veg time with this method gets you the most if you do the math.......yer a lot easier to get rid of too,let it dry out and easy as pie aye

I be spacing them apart as they grow Maria,,,
I have 3x600w lamps but vegging with just one DS bulb for the moment ,,,✌️

1,800 W LEDs -- okay, you have some serious space in that room.
They look like they could all fit under a single light at the moment.
This is going to get fun, for sure!

I did the pre-charge religious for my first few coco grows, using a regular Cal-Mag product (with a bit of N), soaking them for 24 hours in a huge sack.
Since then, I found a better product which without much prep at all still keeps a nice pH and doesn't seem to have lock out issues.
But still, if you're new to coco, really need to pay attention to it, otherwise huge problem that can be very hard to remedy mid-grow.

That's some pretty sweet numbers there.
Your last comment reminds me of dumping big bags of soil near the train tracks back in the day, hahahaha!!!

Bimble if using droppers you could get same yield in smaller pots I veg for three weeks in 3.8 rhizo pots get 3-5 oz the beauty of them pots is you can just sling the whole lot out a bit wasteful but much easier than emptying plastic pots especially if space is limited

I've been back to ditches years later and still seen perlite on the banksides haha!!! proper living soil beds is what i'm aiming for in the next couple years but doubt ill be able to stop doing a bit of coco for commercial here and there still lol.....yes gotta pay very good attention to the coco when you start, ultra controlable yes but in turn can be ultra fuck upable

i dont like using drippers really as i get bored not hand tending the garden and also with this 5 day veg method, all you need is a mum/propagation room, you then just pot them straight in the flower space,5 days then flip...then the space that you would veg plants in for weeks can become a second flower space,so with the mum room feeding the now 2 flower rooms with the low veg time, not only have you got 2 rooms on rotation coming in every 5 or so weeks, you can also get an extra cycle in each room every year with the extra time gained from slashing the veg time, its a good system, very productive..... but many ways to swing a cat as they say!

Blimey,,
Coco can really cut ya veg time😳,

I thought Canna Coco maybe a good one to start with ?
Seems it has some good stuff to get ya going ?
Thinking of doing a half plants in soil and the other half in Coco in our next run ,,,
Ease gently into it 😊,,
Plenty of food for thought icers and thanks for the input👍,,
