S&P Silent Series or Panisonic Whisperline to cool 36 sq ft cab and two 150 watt HPS?

S&P Silent Series or Panisonic Whisperline to cool 36 sq ft cab and two 150 watt HPS?

Hi.

I'm getting down to the wire on ordering parts for my new cab, a 36 sq ft (48 x 20 x 70) area with two 150 watt HPS lamps (hung vertically on a light mover). ABSOLUTE STEALTH is the goal, so I'm looking at either the S & P TD-100XS, the TD-150S, or the Panasonic WhisperLine 240 CFM FV-20NLF1? I don't care about the price difference...I just want stealth and pulling power, as I'll be pulling through a homemade carbon scrubber (with 6 inch ducting).

I've read awesome things about both types, but also crappy reviews as well, concerning back pressure and quietness. What do you guys think, and what sizes should I be getting for that size cab? I prefer to error on the side of caution, and go a little bigger than too small.

Thanks.

Homie I can see where 2 bulbs fit your rectangular space, but still think a 400w would get you almost twice the bright as 2x150. Then I'd use a 4in vortex type fan/filter, where I'm not confident Panasonic will pull thru much carbon

Peace babeh

Thanks Billy. The thing is I'm growing vertically, inside of two chicken wire tubes, and going to try to fill out @ 50 sq ft of scrog screen, so a 400 won't work for me. I did this before using four 150's (see drawing), but this time the fan ans scrubber are going inside cab at the top, and I'll use two 150's on the vertical mover (moving up and down @ 20 inches each way: 40 inches total). In this setup the 150's are plenty strong enough to make some nice nugs.

I was concerned about the Panasonic pulling too...anyone have first-hand experience with these?

Yes I do holmes, own many size whisper fans but none are filtered. Your system does seem very well planned and quite top notch! In fact my first grow in 1991 was 150w, went so well I double up to 2x150!!

Now I've been vert since 2008, the finest specimens came from 2x430 w 2x4in vortex...one blower 24/7 and the 2nd w the lights!! 15oz per 430w not too shabby

2x600w I use a 6in vortex and pull about 21oz of sour per light...and I'm an average grower who yields fairly well

Keep up the good werk homie!
