So with 6 budding plants and 8 weeks per cycle, you will be able to grow 36 plants per year.In order to get 50 pounds, you will need to average a little less than 1.5 pounds per plant!!

This should not be a problem if you use a 200 watt compact flourescent.
150 or 160 just won't cut it.

mhlife... really bad question....

had you rephrased your question a bit you might have given these folks something to actually think about.....

lets rephrse the question a bit.... its actually thought inspiring... and has little with how someone giving advice grows necessarily... and the question doesnt come up much....

heres the real issue....

Im new at this and im just wondering how much the best way to grow considering plant count.... I'm allowed to have 6 budding and 12 vegging at all times.
Thanks for any help guys.

Have some new years spirit and tell him how you would do it....

Plant counts like this afford the grower the opportunity to make trees... and spending as much on electricity as they want....

If this applied to me I would be legal in a heartbeat.... but I would grow based on plant count...

The way I grow now is electric efficiency..... which sucks....

Give the guy some ideas.....

If you count the weight like LE counts weight, it's definitely possible. Just use lots of soil and make sure it's well watered at the time of weight.

Judging by the pot's proportions to body size, could easily be 15 lbs if watered well. :chin:

seriously,,,,about 8000w should do it for a newbie.

6 grows,,,,48,000 w's worth.

1/2g per watt and ur laughin ;)

6 flowering plants only at a time might make it a bit trickier though.

Now you get an old ladies two cents.

You can't really estimate the amount of your grow until you grow. First learn to grow marijuana, then be concerned with yield. You are putting the horse before the cart dear.

And...no one could answer this question. There are way too many variables to consider. Strain, ferts, lighting, humidity, room...I could go on and on.......

Oh by the way, since you're obviously doing this in California... you should consider that it's written as "6 flowering plants OR 12 immature plants", although it's up to interpretation on the floor limits vs. maximum limits, etc. I'm sure your court-appointed lawyer can help you with this, though. :jerkit:

Did someone mention 150w?
