Runts

I have two Dutch Passion Blueberry and two Dutch passion Power Plants in their third week of vegetative stage in the Sunleaves Garden of Ease planter. They are in about a 4x2ft. closet space and get plenty of fresh air. They were planted in rockwool and surrounded by silica stone. Room temperature stays around 70-74 and I guess the water is just a few degrees lower than that. PH of the reservoir stays between 5.5 and 5.8.We're using the nutrients the way they say to from the Technaflora starter kit and growing under a blue 225 LED light panel about 12 inches away. All of the plants look tiny, though. They look a perfectly healthy green, no spots on the leaves, no purple stems or anything wrong with them except they're barely growing. Also, there are very few, very tiny, but white roots sticking out from the net cups. This is only my second grow and I don't know why they're about 1/4 the size they should be by now. Does anyone have any suggestions? I didn't use the LED or the Garden of Ease before (used 125watt dual spectrum flourescent and a very ghetto "EzHydroKit" before), but I did use the Technaflora line of nutrients so I don't know if it's the Garden or if I need more lighting, but somebody please help!

No one cared to help? I added the fluro and they seem to be doing a lot better, except one of each kind is growing slower than the others. Any clue why?

Sorry I never found your forum. Dont worry about it I had a tiny runt that I decided to keep out of 7 seeds and guess what. It was the best plant of the lot and it caught up to my HUGE one so dont worry about it just give it extra love and attention, it might be the best one !! I think mine was caused because i nearly drowned the seed when it sprouted (stupid me) GOOD LUCK and keep me posted

Thanks, I might have overwatered them when i first planted them, as well.
Digitalhippy...yes, I'm using RO. If I buy the fulvic acid would it be best with my other nutrients or as a foliar spray? Also, the LED is now on the side about 3 or 4 inches away and the fluro is the main light.

The bigger two are ready for flowering in about another week but the other two might take longer. Should I go ahead and switch them or wait for the other two to catch up?

I've found powdery mildew growing on the silica stone at the bottom of my plants. None seems to be on the plants yet, but I was wondering about a milk and water solution i've been hearing about to get rid of the pm? Anyone know if that really works or how much of each to mix. Or would an H2O2 solution work better?

Also, I've read that the Blueberry strain won't reach it's maximum yield unless it's topped. Is this true? And when is the best time to top if it is?

Me too, I had a runt once and it turned out to be a monster. It was just waiting to explode into a great plant.
