Got them up potted. The roots were barely visible, so they could have been in the cups longer. 18/6 for a few weeks to put some size on. I’m gonna pinch them to keep them shorter.
They lived through the experience somehow. The lack of more roots in the cups tells me to be sure there is lots of humidity in there, and keep going with the aloe. And go easy with the light power. There is no rush.
This is the JohnnyChicago reproducion of Seedsman O’Haze. I am a little late to Mr. Flower’s skinny leaf challenge, and hopefully gonna be making pollen… besides some good dope. Oh BTW, what is Pan-o-Haze? I have more JC gear to go through.
I am gonna make some Cindy Haze seeds, and send pollen back to Mr Flower so he can make some Haze hybrids. In particular I am hankering for some delicious McHaze.
The plants are still doing fine, just a little slow. I am not a fan of plastic pots.
It has been 30 days since I wet the seeds. The light is at 14/10 now, and will be dropped to 12/12 in a few daze. Leafs are showing a little chlorosis despite the heavy cal-mag, but like the NLH they may grow through it. Have a 7 leafer front left.
The flip is done and they are at 12 /12. Just like the current outside daylight. This means I can take any males outside and still get pollen. I will drop the light time later when they are good and stretched out.
In the tropics, the tropic of cancer and capricorn will have the maximum variation in day length because they represent the Northenmost and Southernmost extremes of those lattitudes. Everywhere else in the tropics will have LESS variation that this:
"There are approximately 13 hours, 35 minutes of daylight during the summer solstice.During the winter solstice, there are 10 hours, 41 minutes of daylight."
This is why Tropical sativas do not have a strong flowering response at 12/12 .
