Run 4 - two tents of Sativa

Thanks CG. I have been very lazy this grow, and the mortality rate reflects that. I have no idea why I am even bothering, as ALL of the jars I have are full.

Too much dawg phood around her plate for mice to bother with pot leaves. I have two OHSK doing the distorted leaf thing, in two different bags. That lone solo cup is a total mutant freak. May be genetics.

I ordered another humidifier.

When you live in the middle of a field one thing you can expect is field mice. Dog food never deterred any of my mice.

................ What they love best are the seedlings. Ever gone to check on the thriving babies and found nothing but stems with missing heads?

The leaf damage looks to me like it happened when the leaf was much younger as it was emerging from the growth tip, and then it grew to full size - in fact if you look back at the previous pic it is present there as well.... so whatever it was happened a while back.

Some pics of he OHSK. The humidifier in that tent went nuts one night and boiled off all the water, ruining the light temp/humidity sensor. and making the plants unhappy. They seem to be over it for now. Stretching under 12/12. Watching for sex.

The OHLP is still at 18/6 with the other three plants. This tent doesn't have a humidifier yet. I think VPD is important for the plant growth. No humidity, no growth.

The other three... That freak in the middle is for amuzement only.

I flipped the OHLP by putting it in the tent with the other Skunkman plants. I have a hunch this tent will be a jungle.

It is the front right bag. The rest are the OHSK.

All these plants have recycled soil from the same tub. The DP and AG look kinda like the Ace plants from run #3. Short and bushy, with fat leaves. The plants are slow because I didn't have a humidifier, and the air was too dry. Still 18/6. Now have a humidifier, lower right corner.

Not so much with the OH crosses in the other tent. These have had a humidifier for over a week. Rockin 12/12. This is OHSK.

And this freak mutant OHLP... for entertainment purposes only! In there with the fat leavers. I'll up-pot into a 7 gallon bag and hope it's a fem.

Yeah, you're right, it does look like a male but wait and see - gonna make seeds if it is? :whistling:

Not intentionally. Damn little ball sac sitting there on my most vigorous plant. Figures.

So I suppose I just cut it off at the base, since there are 3 plants in that bag?

i'd wait until you see a couple more sacs...it is likely a male but ive seen plants produce one like that first and then go on to be 100% female.

I am mentally ready to lose half of the regs to balls. I pinched off that little sac, and we'll see.

I'm gonna up-pot that little misfit. Those kind of plants have a soft spot in my heart, and I just can't kill 'em. Like a stray dawg (and I saw a pair of pure black wolfdawgs loose on the side of the road this evening without collars -looked very friendly. Discipline ...).

Watch it be a male.

I am in the process of flipping the later tent. The OHLP straggler is in a 7 gallon bag now. I have a hunch that misfit will be special, just by looking at the skinny leaves and it's slow growth.

The others have fat leaves, but I am not fooled. So did those Ace Tribbles that were in this tent last. Here is the DP:

And the two AG:

Meanwhile the other tent is chugging long. I still suspect that one vigorous plant is a male, but so far that is the only one I suspect. It is on the right hand side of the lower left bag. I want to cull that plant and rotate the bag 180* to let branches against the door get light. Giggles wants to see the tent get knocked-up, so she can get free seeds.

DSC01192.JPG

The slower plants at the right rear are also OHLP. The leaves in this tent are not nearly as skinny as the little OHLP misfit.

This dope may be ready by 4/20.

OHSK: Are we looking at a male here? If so, I think the other plant in the bag is a female. Instant seeds...? Nah.

I chopped it off at the ankles!

I haven't seen any more ballz yet in the tent of Skunkman gear, but two or three plants are awfully vigorous, so I watch closely. it wouldn't hurt to get rid of those three big plants, and let the smaller ones have room. The one in the back right corner was with the male I culled. If the three big plants are males, that would be a lucky planting, since they are in separate pots.

Meanwhile in the other tent, AG and DP are growing like most of my dope before I flip it - short and bushy. The tent is flipped now to 12/12.

This OHLP is defying all the past plants and starting with skinny leaves. It is slow to grow, and was a misfit. Same soil, same tent. I have big hopes for this skinny leafer. The OHLP is a wispier plant than the OHSK.
