I understand cherrishing your loved one, and protecting her

if you ask for humility then you better be showing humility yourself

Rule #1

If any father does anything unfairly to my son I will kick his ass in front of his daughter.

Rule #2

If my son does anything unfairly to anyone's daughter you better call me and I will handle it. Otherwise rule #1 is in play.

You dig Yort? In my experience people with PTSD are quite relaxed when they are KTFO.

Its the unfortunate truth. I have a friend whose daughter told her that in high school youre a uncool chic if you don't suck dick.

And its not the dudes who are pushing this as much as its the other girls!

There was one girl at my school, and when she split with her BF, he let it be known that he'd done her up the wrong un...at 14.
I feel awful now when I think back to the merciless teasing she had to endure after that. every time she walked down the corridor or across the playground, there would be a chorus of "ooopa de aaarsa"
Kids are vicious.

its kinda pathetic that your son is cool to run home to dad when he does the dirty on some one. this is the kinda behaviour that creates weasel kids who think they can do what they want.

personally if I came across this scenario with my daughters, id beat the dad and son down in front of my daughter lol. I also have a son but I wont ever fight his battles for him.

in all fairness we all get protective over our kids and it would be weird if we didn't, I think if you can bring your daughters up with some morals and self respect, hopefully they will pick better dates in their teens... hopefully!

If teenage daughter consents to a fumbling (it takes two to Tango, I am not talking about rapey behaviour..just making that clear) with someone else's teenage son, the daughter's Dad smacks the lad, he'd better be prepared for lad's dad to come and do some smacking of his own.

Also this whole moral thing is daft, and part of a culture of infantilisation.
That 14 year old daughter would have probably been married with 2 kids 100 years ago.

My girl got so spoiled by Mr. Big Man On Campus, handsome 6'-5" track star, polite to a fault (Air Force officer parents) all around nice guy but when he landed the Big Job in DC he wanted her to go with.

But now she's so spoiled, I ain't never gonna have grandkids even though they talk every week or so.

I liked the other guy who grew some pretty good weed myself, but just because we had a shared point of interest wasn't quite enough...

That's pretty good! I just had my first daughter last week. It is strange how this super protective instinct kicked in all of a sudden. I'm all concerned about germs, pets and people even coming near her. I can't even imagine some little shithead thug wanna be trying to defile her in a few years. Yes, I will be the "scary" dad amongst her friends.
