Roulette is for fools

The game is there for 'fun.' If you are not there for fun, your smartest play is to do something else with your money.

The players with a 'system' almost always have the worst attitude at the table. The ones with good attitudes are only half serious and there for mostly fun.

They ALL lose, with occasional good days which lessen their overall losses.

Yeah, gaming should be fun, and when it starts feeling like a grind, it’s easy to lose sight of that. I’ve seen players get really intense with their "systems," and while some might get lucky now and then, it’s often the ones just there to enjoy themselves who have the best time.

I taught a buddy the space invaders system over chat with a few texts and some marked up screen shots.
He was just throwing away a couple hundred on it when out with the wife anyway. Just having fun.

So I gave him a simple system to give him some structure and some basic money management suggestions.

He's doing really well with it.
Up about $1200 over a 2yr period.
He would send me texts and thanks.

When I pressed him about it he wasn't even doing it the way I thought.
He felt uncomfortable with the live dealers and had switched to the electronic one using the same basic strategy.

For his situation I think a system was what he needed. He admittedly wasn't interested in reading about betting strategies, how to play the game or to watch a YouTube video.

I found the only pattern in roulette the other day.

Every time the ball spins... it lands in one of the slots.

Everything else is fantasy.

Win/win roulette table, shot glasses of whiskey/poitin/vodka..
The odd Brussel sprout goes in there as well, (the one most don’t want to land on) unless you like them of coarse.
