That's a lot of pressure. If you "compete" you'll be setting a very good mark for your industry..
If you simply just finish... that will still raise eyebrows to your industry
If you flat out fail to finish...which many many folks do...that will have been expected but you can at least learn from the experience.
I'm a big fan of baja and I wish you the best. Would be interesting indeed.

As far as the link, after reading this thread I freaking HAD to click it haha. It was very creative and definitely I think she has been schooled. I don't even have cable/sat tv anymore so I usually just watch the latest dvds but even I know about this rosie/trump thing haha.

I think that is really funny you post that b/c I am an Environmental Science major with an focus on renewable energy. I am trying to start a company to help people convert their cars to run on Biodiesel and propane gas. Hate to break it to you, but biodiesel and the enormous mono-culture farming that it would require is just as damaging to the biosphere as the present system, albeit in different ways.


What it boils down to is this: A system that is based on "constant positive economic growth" ie: the profit motive and the profit motive alone will consume itself within a finite resource system.

We have to totally change our paradigm and our philosophy of what life is about , and the way in which we live on this planet, or we will not be here in 1000 years.....

Our entire attitude towards our planet is exploitative and malignant. If we don' t change it our self, the planet will....by killing us off.

I was going to start a thread about Donald Trump but this one is better... fast forward 8 years and hes the front runner in the USPREZ republican presidential race, 8 years later! Rosie O is seen giantly, briefly, occasionally and sparingly and I'm OK with that. "HE" will be the one to de-categorize cannabis as a class one drug, hes a businessman, and that would lead to legalization at the fed level.
