Roots dying

You had a picture of this by any chance? Sounds like you have mold growing in where ever in the area your grow is....... where is your grow located? Closet grow or something?

Cause for mold to attack like the way you listed it has to be present in the area without cleaning the area...... the mold has to be in the area and the only way to kill it is by getting rid of it;s origin which means cleaning everything down and finding the source of the mold.......

Yes its in a closet, no I don't have a pic of the basil seeds, I threw them out. I'm going to give the room a thorough cleaning with bleach.

I had a pic of a canna seedling that had a patch of fuzzy green mold taking over a cotty leaf but I seem to have lost it.

I often see mold attacking discarded seed coatings once a sprout tosses them off.

Heres a pic of two seedlings that died today, I won't be stating anymore inside because they just die, same thing with clones.

I cant grow canna inside right now, the mold just kills everything except already established plants and they are heavily attacked.

Man, this is exactly what happens to my poor little buggers! they never get very far out of the seedshell without slowing down, eventually stopping, and end up looking translucent and discolored... so it could possibly be mold or some other pathogen in my house.

Well thats what I think my problem is but I have been wrong before, I'm pretty sure though considering it attacks everything and I see visible mycelium on the plants. I've tried 4 different fungicides more air and less water and nothing seems to help.

If the plants have enough water to live then so does the mold it seems.
