Rooted clones dying when transplanted to soil

Well first of all your temp ("65degF") is not warm enough. You want to keep a constant temp around 80degF.
Second, youre probably not waiting long enough for the 'water clones' to develop enough roots to be transferred. Allow water clones to develop for at least 10-15 days before you try to transplant.

A better idea is to clone with soil and then there is NO issue at transplant.

Heres a great cloning read by hyb. This should get you better success. Water cloners are too fragile and unpredictable.
