Root Rot HElp

[Hemp 420]

I have 8 Double Dutch Seeds at about 32 Days in DWC system.

ph 5.3 to 5.9
ppm 800 to 1020
Water Temp 68 to 69.4

6 of these plants over night some how have Dark Brown to black all over roots.

2 Are just fine

The 6 Plants themselves seem to be fine at this point but rots are not white anymore.

What would this be from and what can I do to fix the problem ASAP.

Quantbender even asked if everything was ok and you did not respond back..... why make another thread when you had the same problem in the other thread?

Not yelling at you.. just curious to as of why you did that.....

Hot water will not just clean out your buckets either; I asked you a lot of questions in the other thread and you did not answer.... so lets start again......

What STRAIN are you growing?
What was the establishing technique? (Were the seed or clone?)
What is the age of your plants?
What PHASE are the plants in? (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in?
What Technique are you using?
What substrate/medium are you using?(Hydroton, RockWool etc.)
What is the Water temperature?
What Nutrient's are you using? How much of each if using multiple?
What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using?
What is the pH of the "Tank"?
Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment?
When was your last watering?
When was your last feeding change? (ie. grow-bloom-micro-additional)
What size bulb are you using?
What is the distance to the canopy?
What is your RH Factor?
What is the canopy temperature?
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range)
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)
Is the fan blowing directly at plants?
Is your water HARD or SOFT?
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When?
Are plant's infected with pest's

Washed all buckets out with Bleach bought all new air wands and hose. These are all New seeds. I threw out all other plants in last post. This seems to be a differnt problem but maybe not.

Last night everything was Great today 6 of 8 have brown to black all over rots. Not really slime yet.

Waht else do you need to know.

I need you to answer as many as possible the questions I posted in my previous post. When I was referring to you washing them out with hot water, was talking about your previous thread when you said you washed them out with hot water.

When was your last feeding change? (ie. grow-bloom-micro-additional)
6 Plants are under 430 HPS 2 plants are under 600 HPS about 3ft above

What is your RH Factor?
Room temp is 79 to 83
What is the Day/Night Temp? drops to 67
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) 1 430cfm sucking one Blowing
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? NO
Is your water HARD or SOFT? Tap
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched NO
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When? NO
Are plant's infected with pest's NO

I believe the majority of the problem here is high temnperatures in the DWC bucket(s).

What is the temperature of the dwc nute solution ? (lows and highs)
Take the temp first thing at lights on and again get another reading at almost lights off time to see what the high-low extreme range is. (temps do rise as the lighting period continues in hot enclosures)
If you have no accurate way to test water temp, please get a cheap aquarium thermometer from Wallyworld and other stores aquarium supply departments.
They usually sell for about two dollars, and are well worth the money.

Please explain how you're mixing that 4-6-2 ratio ?
(IE: how much of each per gallon water, and in what order are you mixing these into your water)

Water is always between 65 and 70 Never seen it Hotter then 72.

Gh Nutes 2t Brown,3tGreen,1tRed in that order per Gal.


Just check Water is at 68 PH at 5.7 ppm At 800

Everthing looks the same No better no worse.

Ya, we are having picture issues... we will see what is going on when you can upload pics.....

You must have some light getting into your system... how often are you testing the water temp?

You using a digital thermometer?

All Buckets are Rapped in Black Duct tape and lids their is a small hole in the top of 3 buckets but ive been using these buckets for 6 years now.
My TDS/PH/PPM Meter reads the Temp. I check the Readings Once a day.

I went there today and everything seems to be the same or geting better so All looks good.

I put some Brown stuff I had in it will get the name of it later do know it off the top of my head.

So it looking better

smell your roots and if they have a soil like smell to them then i dont think you have root rot.if they have a funky smell to them then you may well have root rot.

what was the brown stuff you put in the rez?tricadema powder or piranah maybe.
