federation seeds has a romulan backcross (8th gen?). can't remember. gypsy doesnt seem to carry it though.

Next Generation Seeds carry Romulan in seed form. From what I have read, the Romulan is a clone-only that was crossed with something (White Widow?) to create seeds.
I've always heard the Federation seeds were the best representation of the Romulan clone, but I haven't heard or seen much on Reef's version or Next Gen's.
I'm not sure at all, but Federation may not be making seeds anymore, and retailers are just selling off old stock. Because every site I see with Fed seeds listed has different varieties avaliable, and rarely if ever the 'good' strains like Island Sweet Skunk, Romulan, UBC Chemo, or Big Mac and some others.
Hopefully someone can shed some more light on the situation with Fed.
I do know that you can find some of the good Fed strains at small walk in shops or smaller websites. But you have to be nearby to the shops or have trust in the small website.

Hempdepot and Planetary Pride both have over a dozen Federation strains for sale, but no Romulan, looks like you'll have to find someone who made some beans or has a clone.

NG's Romulan was extremely lacking IMO. I grew out 2 packs, found not one keeper and hermaphrodites were dominant.
NG's Rom is Romulan Joe X White Whidow, this cross was then back crossed to the RJ cut something like 8 times.
Blueberry Punch actually does not use the RJ clone but a male "Romulan", from one of NG's back crosses. Blueberry Punch is also dominated by hermaphrodism and severe mutations, some of which refuse to grow after a point. I would have had one keeper had she not been a he/she.
After trying over 30 seeds from NG and having them all turn out worthless... well, you get the point.

Is Romulan an inbred Skunk x Afghani? If so, there are a few Skunk x Afghanis out there, maybe one of those would be a better bet if you can;t get hold of a clone.

Federation disbanded yes? and next gen and some other company in canada(some sorta med seed co) are what remains of the genetics i believe. i could be totaly wrong, but id guess thats why the stocks of fed seeds are dwindling. i still tell the story from like 5 years ago when i first tried romulan ubc chemo(dense golfball nugs, so trich packed that they looked like they were dipped in water and rolled in salt), ever since that day ive wanted a cut of romulan. good luck with finding one tho.
