Ok. I’m getting all the bad out of the way. I had a Oax 79 x Panama that was all girl. A lot of my plants went out under natural light a little too early this year. She was getting into flower and I coaxed her back into veg to about 2 1/2 feet before I planted. Ran out of good wire wrap. The cheap one I put on got blown over most likely.

Completely eaten down to the nub by the tree rodents. I’ll see if I can get any clones to reveg. These three spots will have to take some smaller potted plants I have as replacements. They won’t get big, but they will be bigger than potted in the other yard I suspect.

Big Malawi leaves it seems to me.

Definitely has the rude aromas.

I am not sure if it’s a boy or a girl. It would be cruel injustice if it’s another male. I’m a little less concerned after seeing the plant I gave my buddy.

His is looking plenty healthy. Leaves aren’t as crazy big as mine are.

Balls!! Not sure the smell. I’m going to take a couple cuts, try to clone and get some pollen. I have one smaller plant in the other garden, so hopefully get some F2’s.

This one is all female. I have one or two others that are still uncertain.

She’s not getting as much sun as I’d like. If she could just get a little taller, she should be ok.

I’m in awe. She has a very interesting leaf structure. Petite.

Last but not least, the C5Hz X KC. I’ve got a few of these scattered about.

This one is absolutely crazy. It’s like a tropical jungle in there.

Not a lot of aroma yet…

…but pretty purpling stems.

I tried to separate the two main stems a little. Probably should have bushed her out a bit more. Not really sure what kind of flowers to expect with this structure.

That’s all for the evening. I’ll try and take some shots tomorrow in a different light. As well, I’ll try and post a bit more as things start getting interesting around here.

i've been thinking about you these last months friend @Ur Humbl Nr8tor :) hope you have had a good first half of the year!
Pretty significant the comparison between the highly inbred Oldtimer's Haze vs The Purple Haze Thai hybrid!
Yeah, looks a like a young male preflower to me.

The purple stems in your C5 Haze x Kali China comes from Kali China line (and to go deeper and be more accurate: from old China #6 P1 mother).

Thanks dubi. I had grand plans when I started early this year, but there’s just been a lot of life going…so things haven’t been as smooth in the garden. I started way too many seeds this year and had to move them all outdoors where many of them started to spring flower. That’s slowed everything down.

I chopped the two males (OTH tall and long and F3 Purple Haze x MT). Last shots.

I’ve replaced with:

This is a cross I made last season kind of randomly. It’s a female (Oax x Panama) x OTH and a male SSSDH x OTH. No idea what to expect, but it should be plenty hazey.

This is my other F3 purple haze x Meao Thai. Not sure it’s sex, so fingers crossed. It’s got a month or so to grow up before flowering. The one I just ripped out was over 2 meters at chop.

For next year, I might just try sprouting a few seeds every few months this fall and winter. Sex and select so I’m in better shape with selections.

For instance, it now appears the grove Killer A5 Haze is a male. That means all three of the seeds I started from the m/f pack ended up male. Just dumb bad luck. For next year, I’ll sprout a few of those as well 1 or 2 from what’s left of the original fem pack I have.

If I rip the last KA5H I still have two spots to fill in the grove with time running low on vegetative growth. I have a couple of the ICMag Original Haze plants and thinking they should go in the spots to give them some more veg time before they flower later this fall.

I really like the skinny leaves on the KA5H. How is the stem rub? Would that be a possible breeder? Because of life I missed the summer grow so I am stuck with few autos in the basement!

BOMBAYCAT,

I have a single cut currently attempting to clone. I’ll take a couple more before I chop. I’ve also got a few cuts from the KA5H I gave my buddy. Male flowers developed much sooner. Yes to possible breeders for each. I can dust different parts of females and compare the males down the road. You don’t need to rub the stem on the one I have in the grove. At dusk, it’s loud and rude aromas get noticed within 10 feet. I think it leans heavily into the Malawi, but maybe dubi can chime in. The friends cut wasn’t nearly as strong. Just think it would be nice to see the differences in progeny from the fast flower to the slow and stinky one.

This is in the back yard. The other OTH Tall & Long and the Short and Fast. Pretty easy to tell which is which.

I‘m still unsure on the sex on these…but fingers crossed I get them both as females. I’m thinking I’ll set a SCROG screen up.

Here’s a old one from the same breeder as Quorra. Trainwreck x Tom Hill Haze

It was flowering this spring and is now just starting to sprout back up in reveg. I need to trim a bunch of the larf at the bottom.

And here is a Peyote Purple Querkle which isn’t really stretching anymore.

I think the replant is a female and should know in a few weeks. Hope she stretches like crazy after giving up the male monster.
