Roadkill SKunk

Maybe somethings are better left alone as they were....as a memory if you will.

Sometimes bringing things back to life, leaves you with a big dissapointment...

Who have RKS pics please? i'm growing Bc.RKS from cannacopia and after one selection on ten seeds i've one phéno real old school in smells and effet.
I don't know if it's "true" roadkill but the smells is strong skunk very disgusting with citrus afternote (light). Very resinous buds covered with trich, finished in 9weeks...Effect are stong zombified with overpowering smoke...

Look at that...and thx for anwser

BC.RKS...special phéno. RKS is more sativa side no?

Dried

well Cannacopia posted some shots of the RKS mom used in their crosses but who knows what it really is, seems strange they they won't divulge where/how they got it, or what they worked to get to it.

A friend of mine is deeply enamored with the RKS, and he has been on somewhat of a quest himself to find his old favorite. I don't want to speak for him and say that he has found the one, but I think he did post some pics in another RKS thread. Hashmasta-Kut's photos:

Nice pics Braindead#1 and wordtree

Kinda funny how we search for that "holy grail" of seed memories...the ones that bring back fond memories. For you guys, looks like RKS has many followers. Mine was "African Black"...made my first prom a day (and night) to remember. That story would be good enough for a book.

The good thing is that we have so many nice choices, now. I love grabbing heirloom strains but their are so many tasty hybrids that I am happy for what we have.

Agreed just like in stephen king's movie pet cematary...

No offense at all to anyone, but I'm pretty sure the reason no one is having luck finding a real road kill skunk, like the kind they remember is pretty simple.

Most of the stories from the original RKS thread all are about weed that they bought (obviously on the black market), since there are no pictures, and no reports of having grown it, or even knowing what it really is.

Now that they have been smoking for a while, they've either started growing their own, or have access to high quality strains that were created in Amsterdam, etc... with totally different genetics and terpenoid profile than the "skunk" weed that they remember.

And so they'll look online, but as we all should realize now, to the best of my knowledge there is no real skunk offered at any seed bank. Sure, it may be Skunky but with "fruity undertones" or "citrus undertones" etc... But you don't understand unless you've experienced real skunk weed. There are no undertones except Skunk.

Since I'm in a situation where I can't grow for an indefinite amount of time, I have no other option than to buy from the black market, and since I don't live in a medical state, a large portion of my states weed is imported from either Mexico, Georgia, or some place such as Tennesee or Kentucky. I really don't know where it comes from, except that it's obviously imported and grown outdoors due to seeds and compression.

Anyway, I frequently come across good quality imported actual Skunk weed.

I've grown a lot of bagseed in the past, and I once had a very fast growing bushy, with so little space between the internodes, with very weird wide leaves plant, that smelled nothing else but skunk, but unfortuntely it was a male, and I had no interest in breeding at the time and was always told to kill males at first sight, so I destroyed it.

But my point is, if you want to find real Road Kill Skunk, you can't depend on a Seed Company to provide it for you, because none of them have the genetics. And even if they get something that is Skunky, it won't be real, because they will use some dutch strain in a cross, which will add an undesirable undertone. Like I said, real skunk is nothing but skunk. No fruit, No lemon, No "pleasant" flavor. It's just real skunky.

No, if you want real RKS, you will have to search for it in the black market. And in all reality, it would be a better deal for you, because usually for around the pack of good seeds, you can get at least a half ounce of great mids, with more seeds than you'd get in that pack, so you'd have more plants to work with, and search for your desired rks. But like I said, it's not hard to find, especially if you live in the midwest.

Yep...what story...nice, black market not really good thing...

This cut (bc.rks) smells like dead bird man very light citrus...The taste is stong skunk witn not fruity or somethings like that...I'm pretty sure a lot of grower grow RKS...it's not a dream cut ^^ . I hope find this truly bomb strain one day, there are so goods strains in a world

I know, it's very unfortunate that my only option in obtaining my medicine is buying off the black market but it's not always as scary or bad as it may seem. If you're young (18-30) there's a good chance that there's at least one of your good friends who can hook you up. And even if not, it's really not that hard to find.

I mean, that's how the majority of us first started smoking. I doubt a lot of people decided "Oh, I'm going to grow this plant that I've never even smoked before". And if not in a medical state, I doubt a lot of people had/have the luxery of always being able to find high grade at a good price. Like I said, most people here grow their own, like I did, and have no reason to resort to the black market.

But for years now people who have been growing their own, and buying genetics have been complaining about not being able to buy RKS seeds, or get a RKS cut, when it's still out there. They just can't buy seeds online. They want everyone else to do the work of finding a skunk plant, and making a seed line from it.

Like I said, all of my experience with weed that is nothing but skunk, has been imported. I've never found pure skunk in any stabilized strain on the market. It's all sweet. If you are too uncomfortable with buying some weed on the black market, then have a friend save you some seeds off of a skunky batch.

Because that's where it's found.

OK...the term Skunk indicates "indica" strains..... and I assure you some where in seed form is sitting these indicas. Be it Afghanistan,Pakistan etc.... or in the stash box your dad/mom hide in the garage......

If any of you know soldiers ...in the war. Maybe you could get them to collect land race seed for you. And then there by help establish the American search for these genetics. Bet they wont be the sweet tasting ...but acrid ghani's. One way to find out....

This really reminds me of the "Cuddlefish Hashplant", she is known to be a real stinker, but just rotten, almost skunky, but just flat out rotten everything....

No offense, I am just asking 'cause I love that plant and would do anything to get her back, lol....

Cuddlefish Hashplant is a funky 'ol very good yielding plant that needs all the filter's you can get her while growing her.....

I'm on the same search, have been reading a lot and am almost ready to make my purchases and I'll grow out various possibilities at once to find the one...but here's what I've found...

1. gonna try cannacopias Roadkill x deep chunk....the pic above looks similar to old rks but it's been awhile...
3. I believe Billygoat has some seeds from back in the day that he's gonna work on...

I'm gonna get going on the first two soon and try to get the third to compare it to when the time comes...out of that I gotta find one....

I can say that if you order Cannacopia, you WILL NOT be dissappointed, I assure you, every time I have seen their work it was always Funk, In a good way, a very good way, i already ordered their gear and am waiting to finish some work and I will be starting them......

Another good thing about them is that they are reasonable in their pricing, very reasonable, and I have been hurtin' pretty bad lately with money since my wife and I have had some Medical issues so their prices do help people like me and you who need to be careful with our Money.....

Peace man

i am growing rks from fem seeds. the results would dissappear if i tried to post here. the vendor isnt welcome on this site

there are strains that come around here few times a year on the east coast that just smell up the whole house so strong of skunk you would think it was burnt hair. jars dont cut it, vacum seal it or you might as well smoke it in front of every1.

My boy popped a pack of the cannacopia rdkill x deepchunk. Definanatly very skunky. No fruit undertones at all. Several phenos came out of the pack. Some were green Some were crayola purple. It was a pretty even high. I have about 4 strains that get me a little more high. All considered it is a decent plant but i will never throw more than a few of them in my grow room at a time. I think she has alot of breeding potential as almost a pure indica. I plan on pollinating an unkown haze plant and a sativa blueberry that i have with rdkill x dpchnk pollen.
