road trip to nowhere?

What were we talking about?

Back in the day, we called jumping in the car with a bag of weed and riding out to destinations unknown "Friday Night". I lived in Alabama and we had miles of back roads, dirt roads, logging roads and cow paths to explore. We'd explore the back roads, chuck beer bottles at signs (maybe even shoot a few holes in them) and just generally raise hell. We could get from point A to point B without using any major roadways. There were old logging roads that were only used by hunters during hunting season, and we'd go through places where the bushes scraped both sides of the car for miles.

Some of the most fun I've ever had.

Yep. Spent my teens in a coal cracker town in Eastern PA. You've never seen so many winding mountain roads that went everywhere. Back then, I believe I could put a hundred miles on my car between my town and the next one, 9 miles away, without using the same road twice. Got pretty hairy sometimes, as those roads were pretty narrow, but I still love to drive on twisty roads when I'm high. As has been mentioned, gas was much less expensive then too.

Used to ride my ten speed all over those roads too . . . but that's not going to ever happen again.
