Yeah it's a bad thing once an asshole finds you but thats the same in all cases . I would either get cameras to catch the theif but then your always waiting and watching and what kind of life is that? Or just move..lol.. Living in the city we get thieves on a regular basis and they take everything they think they can use or sell. I have had my car broken into maybe 8 times I just leave it unlocked lol..They have a thing for corn brooms as they have taken 5 of mine..and all my tools.. I came home from the store and caught a guy on my property stealing shit lol. Hard times for ppl and they do stupid things for their drugs as these guys look pretty hard core and sad at the same time. peace out Headband707

that kind of reminds me of what happened to my buddy, he lives on a farm with at least 1000ft between neighbors, and everyone know everyone....

anyways, someone went in his barn and stole his atv, nothing else, and didnt even check the other 2 barns....

long story short my buddy said "good for them, i couldnt even get it working", they stole his atv that would not start and was on the way to the scrap yard....

all this to say some ppl will go to great lengths to steal ....regardless of what it is and from who...


i dont think it was your neighbor, i think it was either someone you know, that followed you in hopes of getting a bigger hit, but instead got only 2 plants....i would check your friends and ppl you know....

for this reason over the years i have reduced the number of friends that i have, i now have 4 friends that i trust, everyone else is just ppl i know/know of....

No doubt, "friends" suck...Im trying to lose as many as i possibly can...lol..seriously!

you know what? some of the kids that i used to hang out w back in high school used to go out and rip this rasta familys crop every late august. at least three years in a row they would get all this super-preme ganja, without ever getting caught.

they used to always ask me to come, but i never went. around the time i matured and realized these fucks were scum, they started ripping the old-time growers; the ones that were well established in the community. the men who counted on the crop to by that new F150, the boat, etc.

my family were friends of many these growers, my father only grew enough to get him through the winter. after overhearing a conversation between my mother and father, i came down from my bedroom and gave them the info i was privy to. well, long story short, that was the last year that group was successful at stealing someone elses hard work.

the next august one of the affected growers and his two 20ish sons started following some of the 5 thieves. specifically, two brothers. everyday. after a week of 12-15 hr shifts they followed them to my fathers property.

it was about 1am, and as the two sons followed the rippers into the woods, the boys father knocked on our door. my dad was still up strummin bob dylan and tom waits on his les paul. i peered out my bedroom door; he commanded me to stay in bed, and grabbed is 20gauge/22 over-under shotgun.

well, to this day i dont know what happened in those woods. never heard any shots. i do know there was a few procceeding years that i didnt hear about any crops being robbed.

1/3 of one of my spots got taken this year. i wish it was 15 years ago. i know who it was. they were caught redhanded selling herb that was a carbon copy of my shit to a friend of mine. if it was 1997, my assossiates and i could give this motherfucker what had coming to him. i had to convince my people that it wasnt worth it to seek retribution. too much exposure.

you see, karma is a slow-moving beast, but when it catches up to you, watch out. 3 of those thieves from back in 97' are in state prison for armed robbery, doing at least their third jail/prison term. two of the others are hardcore junkies. in and out of rehab/county. only one of them is gainfully employeed, hes a janitor at a local community college.

so lazyman, let that shit roll of your back. rise above it. you are so above them, and the pitiful excuse for a life they have. learn from your mistakes(if u made any) and grow ten times the amount of plants outside next year.

to bad you didnt catch them in the act? what you should do is go look in every back yard with in a two block radius, and see if you find them trimming it up. once some kids lifted some stuff out of my window. they left one piece of evidence. a big jar down the alley that they took an ounce out of that was in a bag in the jar. then i followed the alley and found them smoking in between houses, and they dropped it and ran. lol i didnt even have time to say anything. it was funny.

Yep, anyone setting booby traps/snares needs to be willing to go the distance with their captives. If you let them loose, YOU go to jail instead of them. If you can't handle getting your hands dirty, don't play in the mud.
