Great man gone. Devoted the better part of his life to bring a bit of enlightenment to those with the spark of curiosity. I bought "Be Here Now" and "The Only Dance There Is" when they came out back in my senior year in high school and began my spiritual quest that culminated for me at a Zen monastery in the Catskills. Thank you Ram Dass. You made a difference.

I spent many years in the same area as the Neem Karoli Baba ashram in India. Many happy moments laughing and listening to that ecstatic soul talk.

He helped a lot of people :)

This world needs the enlightenment he showed/lived. High plane, Ram Dass.

I'm not very familiar with this guy, but from everything I've heard today, here and elsewhere, it's clear he lived an amazing life and touched many people. RIP.

I still have my worn out copy of “BE HERE NOW” he definitely had an effect on my life. 49 days in the bardo and he will be back...

Be Here Now. Good advice. (Just loaned his book to a Friend. Synchronicity.)

Be Here Now influenced me a lot at a certain time in my life. Many of it's lessons have lasted and it changed the way I looked at, and thought about the world.
RIP.
