One of the funniest guys to bless the film industry. My favorite Wilder movies would be The Producers (classic & most hilarious shit ever), Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein & Stir Crazy.

83 years old, he passed away in Stamford CT 8/29.

R.I.P. Gene Wilder

Man, this one really hurts. I first saw Gene Wilder in the Producers and he instantly became one of my favorite comic actors. Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein are two of my very favorite films all-time.

You gave us all a lot of laughs. Here's to you . . .

See No Evil, Hear No Evil (♥ x3)

Sooo many funny scenes.

I have to admit i thought Richard Pryor stole the show, but they were a great duo.

Fly on Starman. Quite a few great souls have went back this year. Almost seems like something big is going on in the cosmos.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen Blazing Saddles. Saw it more than a half of dozen times in a week in college when the theater was showing it for a buck 2 times a day. Young Frankenstein, was another favorite, The Producers, the Pryor movies…too many to list. I wonder how many know his big screen debut was in Bonnie & Clyde.

He was a great actor and comedic genius. Mel Brooks said it best, “One of the truly great talents of our time. He blessed every film we did with his magic & he blessed me with his friendship.”

RIP

Oh my, another great one is gone. Stir Crazy and Blazing Saddles and so much more.
Him and Gilda together again... She went way too soon...
I hope Richard Pryor greeted him as he arrived.
RIP Gene Wilder

I'm gonna get blazed hard (I usually only use enough to medicate) and watch Blazing Saddles right now.

He had to have been any directors dream, he always delivered his lines so perfectly, he always knew what the audience would see & hear, he understood every scene as if and as well as he wrote them.

Wilder will be missed, at least he left behind a lifetime, his lifetime, of entertainment.......

I'll tell you later how my dad delivered a line right out of 'Stir Crazy' better than Wilder did it himself. I'm gonna get to my film :)
