Dude, your in the south doing dabs?no fucking way is dabs cheaper than prescription meds in the south.I don't even know anyone in the south who know what dabs are.its gotta be like 100$ a gram or something like that.but that felony will deffenitly fuck you.maybe try to get it expunged if its been so many years since you were convicted.best of luck.were in a similar boat.the only thing I got going for me is no felonies, but that's about it.I'm typing this from the steps of my small local library that doesn't even open for another 2 hours.can't afford internet

Hi, Work any minimum wage job you can... When you are not working (nights and days off) work hard on starting your own legitimate business doing something you love. If you love horticulture start a biz with that, if you love computers start that. Grow your business and be patient. I understand the part of self medicating, it is easier than regular prescription nightmare. Fix your resume so there are no gaps in employment. Have friends be your references for your past jobs. Write several targeted resumes for the target job... for example one for retail, one for management, one for XYZ. That way your current resume doesn't look like a hodgepodge of five career paths. When you're applying for a job that requires a resume, then you only submit the targeted resume that way your resume goes to the top of the stack.

Your life is definitely not fucked because a felony. As more time passes jobs that require a background checks and pay very well will respect your honesty. But for the minimum-wage jobs you need to start working really, who cares if you put yes or no if they're not going to do a background check?

Most importantly never give up. Go somewhere with a shelter and they can help. You are not useless, you're just like the rest of us! Many of us have been in your shoes and worked our way into a better life. Best of luck!

the standing joke in the restaurant industry is that if they enforced drug laws there would be no place to eat out. :)

kitchen often rules the weed scene in restaurants. can build a great customer base.

they can be very lenient on non violent felonies since many of them have one on their record. :)

cannabis, middle man, eventually a few guerilla grows......

some ppl down south hazard an extremely difficult journey to be in America as an illegal that can get jerked back south at any time. watch the documentary "Exile Nation: The Plastic People". it really adjusted a lot of my attitudes.

^ there are actually a few million people wanting to be in your shoes.

I only eat at a place where I'm pretty sure the staff is high most of the time from smoking weed.

But they have to treat it like sex. I know my third wife has been with other men, but I don't want to hear about it.
