This is KCBrains Afghan Special after 12 weeks flower. No amber trichs and half the pistils are white. I just got tired of waiting on it and cut it.

Is there any way this is a indica from Afghanistan or did I get mixed up beans or what? I have one other plant and it looks the same.

They stretched 3x and the buds are as airy as any sativa I have ever seen. I am trying to quick dry a bud and test it but have not smoked it yet.

This was $18 for a pack of ten so I guess I got what I paid for?

Not a pure sat, but "mostly" sativa for sure.

Here's my Love Potion #1 x Neville's Haze seed plant alone in the garden. Everything else has been pulled, tagged, and bagged.

I ran a smaller one that got started earlier and harvested it a while ago. I love the high on this plant. All in the head, but not as paranoia inducing/debilitating as the Nev Haze I grew last year. I'm almost scared to smoke that Nev's haze sometimes, lol. Even after a year in the jar, that stuff makes my palms sweaty and I get a slight hallucinogenic feeling depending on my state of mind before smoking. Definitely not something I want to smoke before work or anything, lol. The LP gives it a bit more girth and mellows out the high pretty good. I've got about 30 seeds left from the first batch I made back in 2012. I'm going to dig through those seeds and see if I can find something that has that strong lemon pledge smell with a haze kick.

Anyway, this plant is FAR from ready...I'm hoping it makes it to the end of November/first half of December.

^ tangwena pic and quote.
Hi Betterhaff I just seal them all together how ever many I make in one run, I also seal up any remaining loose bud along with the cobs, it speeds up the cure of the buds.
I also jar cure buds but i find it takes at least 6 to 12 months before they are any good.
The close up of identical buds one cob cured and one just sweat cured for 2 weeks in the same bag shows how the cob changes the resin.
I think it matures the resin, it definatly changes the taste, smokes a lot smoother and the high is different more trippy, the way i like.

Until you try it you can't understand, the Africans have been doing it this way for a very long time, you will never find jar cured buds in Africa unless its from a new wave indoor grower.
But the real mind blowing gear is sweat cured and compressed.

^ tangwena's cob cured malawi ( iirc).

the ultimate sativa thread might ending up focusing on compressed, anaerobic, slightly damp sweat cures to get the entire process from seed to smoke ultimate high effect.

I can't give tangwena enough praise for his cob cure thread. it's fascinating.

if you approve please give thumbs up to tangwena here:

Illuminate, mi no saber in Mexico :) Piedra de Chihuahua could have maybe more local sales in north I guess and looks more hybridized line

In Colombian big towns whatever sold like cripa today uses to be just commercial weed, being ducth clones or whatever.

Hi,

after testing the Weed I will share my experience. The smoke is a real mild one on the throat. It tastes hashy with dark undertones, but not that pungent yet. The weed itself has some herbal gumlike smell that reminds me a little bit of red winegummies.
The effects are of moderate strengths. Its more a downer despite the sativaphenotype. You will not be super high, but relaxed and calm. Perfect for chilling in the bed or in front of tv during cold winterdays. I like the plant even though I expected a different buzz from it.
