Me too and still
As linked in another thread, a test run of an Oaxaca F1 made between 79 and Kangativas Trance.
These phenos are huge, '79 used wasnt the shortest in the lot :comfort: but what the heck, it was for the fun and smoke, not for the pics ;)

Charlie - Your Oaxacan project is looking fantastic, as everything you touch does. You are the DUDE!
:tiphat:

Samson4 - Very interesting Panama plants. Have you grown it many times before? Can you give us a smoke report?

Thanks in advance.

SAGE - People used to say Northern Lights x Afghan x Purple Zacatecas (Northern Lights x Big Sur Holy Weed). More recently people claim Afghan x Haze. All I know is, this old cut it is my trippiest find in over 10 years and gets me to a higher plane of existence:

Older crop after a 9 month cure. It turns from woody, honey and spice, to pure turpentine:

SAGE x Purple Haze x Meao Thai:

from what i understand it's an acronym of the 4 strains that went into it?

looks real caked.

"S.A.G.E. stands for “Sativa-Afghani Genetic Equilibrium”

A very special Hazy Sativa plant grown at a monastery in the Big Sur area of California (later known as “Big Sur Holy Weed”) is the mother to this line. Adam Dunn used his workhorse Afghani male to balance out the rangy Holy Weed and provide better structure as well as a more palatable flowering time. S.A.G.E. is considered as T.H.Seeds’ flagship strain"

Thanks Primal Haze. When you write "Hazey", do you mean a Haze selection (Mexican x Colombian x Thai x Kerala), or do you mean similar to a Haze, a lanky spicy long flowering Sativa plant, like a highland Mexican, Purple Zacatecas, or any other numerous other tropical or sub tropical Sativas, crossed with the Afghani male?

Thanks,

ThaiBliss

Howdy ThaiBliss,

I just copied and pasted that from TH seeds. I'm not sure about the haze part of the story in the big sur holy weed that he used. I have read about the zacatecas purple being involved in the BSHW's development.

I was listening to the adam dunn podcast awhile back and he said that his bshw mother plant selection had a very distinct wild sage smell that was unique to that one plant.

I have not grown these before. I initially purchased 6 packs of these. I ended up trading 2 packs for some african genetics. He grew 3 plants indoors and got a female. I didn't see the plants but I did sample some of the semi cure buds. I believe it went 18 weeks. I remember a lime taste, and a longggggggg constant high.
