Marijuanamat.. You did run Afropips Swazi Redbeard?? Im really looking forward to seeing pics of them! Maybe you wanna post some in my African strains thread, so we can compare yours against my Swazi Rooibart from African Seeds

Herbalistic it's african seeds swazi rooibart and there only 3 weeks old at the mo but i will get aload of pics of em once they start growing properly as there outdoors and haven't really grown like they should dew to poor weather.
I've got a few michoacan's outdoors to so i can see when they start flowering, hopefully they'll start before late august.

Bonecarver, that Santa Marta Gold is some awesome smoke all by itself. It's no surprise it lends some great characteristics to a hybrid blend. I'm vaping some fine SMG from last years harvest after removing those pesky little seeds that is.

most sativa lovers would kill for this....

Bonecarver, are you sure it's the SMG? Mine didn't produce any nanners at all. Mine had seeds because i needed to preserve the strain.

hehe :D yes - as far as i have been told the Lovepotion has hermie tendencies and she is mainly santa marta gold. in many cultivaded old strains hermies are present. usually its possible to say in these cases the hermie gene and potency go hand by hand ie meaning the selection during the years past has not had in mind to take away intersexed plants.

You want nanners...?

You want nanners...?

Here's a couple of pics of some Highland Oaxacan Gold buds, with the offending nanners visible - that's about the extent of the hermie expression though, so it's not too bad:

Interestingly, not one of the other plants I had in the cabinet seems to have been affected either, despite being pretty close - also the pollen I put on the HOG doesn't seem to have really worked either - can a pheno only respond to its own hermie pollen, I wonder? One for the experts - where are you DJ Short? :)

as far as i know sometimes those late flowering nanners are STERILE and dont give seeds. but there is exceptions.

also seed production triggers stalked trichome production wich makes it very nice for hash...

peace

This one definitely makes seeds - you can see one in the middle of the second pic, but it's all green, as it was so late. First time around, from seed, it threw a few at the beginning of the flower-cycle as well as the end, so I got some fully mature S1s, which I sent a few out - apparently they grew perfect hermie-free offspring.

But I've tried putting pollen on this one at six weeks, and although the pistils withered, hardly any seeds took at all - maybe the pollen was iffy, but a plant I did with the same stuff a week before was loaded with seeds, so I really don't know.

I have so very much on my plate but I hope that in the next 6 Months to 1 Year I will be able to add some wonderful Sativas to this thread and also to the Community whom needs Medicine.

I am working on a project called "1978", I have a C99 project called Pummelo-99 and I also am going to at some point work my "PURE" Thai project again. That "PURE" Thai project is hard though as I can't workout the Hermi traits and it is so very hard to find True males. I am not at all trying to knock down the 20 week flowering time. :)

Hey all, though I would share some macros of my 2 Congo Black ladies.

wao that congo black looks amazing! is that a congolese landrace?
saludos

Hi gkn, yes the Congo Black is a pure Congolese landrace. This is the first time growing out these seeds I collected from a few good nugs. I was lucky to find these 2 good females but no good male though.... I want to re-veg them and look for some good males in more congo seeds I collected.

Cheers, Ah

Here are some Cambodian plants.
Most seeds were from plants grown in Kampong Cham province.
There most plants finished in 12 weeks, longest took 18 weeks.
Sorry for the shity quality pic.
A camera is on my shopping list.
Taste mostly melon, peach. One plant was crazy lemon dishwasher taste.

TheHashAssassin - Thanks bro! They are coming close to harvest so I will look for a male soon enough:joint:

ElRubio - Hey man, and thanks. I will describe the smells/flavours my best.

Congo Balck #1: Most resin pheno. Quite leafy but lots of resin. She has a very strong STINKY smell lol. Very pungent smellyness. Somewhat meaty. Very similar smell to a stinky skunk pheno I grew once. She has a nice smooth sweet sativa underlying smell too that I can smell will be the main bud smell after cure.

Congo Black #2: No stinky aromas like CB#1. More sweet sativa. Lots of very fruity tones especially guava. Most similar smell to a great Durban Poison I grew a couple years back. Same guava smell. She also has a very exotic earthy "dark" smell to her. Reminds me of such things as dates, fine tobacco etc. From buds that I have sampled from both CB phenos, CB#2 is the best in the high department at the moment. The closest thing I've had to the same amazing Guava smell DP pheno I did 2 years ago. Some of the best bud I have had in AGES! Really nice stuff, with great potency and very trippy high.

gkn - Thanks man, I will make sure this Congo landrace is preserved and selectively bred for best traits too. Cheers

Here's shots of freshly cut Swazi today. This was the best pheno out of 2 sisters. Tester buds have proven to be very powerfull just like the mother. Flushed for just over 2 weeks with blackstrap molasses and water.

Cozy Amnesia

Hey everybody! I'm finally growing what I've always want to: a sativa! My friend told who gave me the clone told me it's Jack Herer, but I'm not so sure it is, it looks more sativa. So I've named it Jack Hazer!
