Great thread. I am wondering if Sativa's can take as long as 3 weeks to show pre-flowers after switching to 12/12?

Depends on the strain some shows earlier some shows later....
Let's see what others say :D

Peace

Well I ordered Northern Lights from marijuana-seeds.nl and the attachment is what I got. Definitely Sativa. To the right is an Aurora indica (first time trying an indica variety.) This Sativa took almost 3 weeks to show pre flowers and is now doing well. I have been trying to contact them to find out what this could possibly be since I have a good idea it isnt Northern Lights LOL. She has been topped and tied and is 2 months only on the 20th of this month.

Wow u get them nl seeds directly from there site.Deff no nl i want.Very sativa looking i know.May be still good smoke so not all is lost anyway.

Dirtyfreddy: Thank you for sharing those Lao sativa pics. They look like they havent been bricked & even cured somehow :chin: Must been a great experience smoking them and what a deal you made! Would also love to hear about the smoke

I got that weed in a little village on the mekong. It hasnt been bricked, just crushed from being in my shoe while going through police road blocks.. man I hate bamboo prisons.. and yeah it was cured and taken care of very well.. nice big trimmed buds, just a few seeds, best taken care of weed ive seen in SE asia. it smoked very smooth, tasted peppery and spicey. The smoke smelled like sandlewood... it had a very nice happy energetic high... not as trippy as thai or strong as the weed i got in nam... very clear and long lasting... great for cruising the countryside on a dirt bike!
Each of the 2 or 3 oz i got had between 5-8 seeds .. one of which ended up in a flower box in front of the Peninsula in HongKong. It was 4 or 5 inches when i last saw it hehe I misplaced the other 12 or 15 seeds in a move :violin:

Hi Freddy

How about the people there? Was it hard to contact some real farmers and get that quality weed? Is it safe to hike throughout the countrside?
I always wanted to visit Thailand and Laos.

Peace :violin:

keep the pure sativas comming !

keep the pure sativas comming !

greetings to all sativa lovers, good evening all indeed :joint:

what was posted by I several pages ago as a malawi was in fact a colombian:

that girl has been flowering for 100 days already, gonna give her another 20-40 more days :joint: however, 1/4 of her vertical colas were ripped right off the main stem by a tree branch that fell on top the plant mutilating it, it was a clean cut though

and here are a couple of malawis, growing like single cola plants, due to the tropical latitude no doubt, there is another pheno that just grows two branches but that pheno is not doing too great out here:

the colombian as well as malawis were pollinated by a colombian cripi male.

peace and health :)

The people in Thailand and Lao are very kind and friendly. It is relatively safe to travel the countryside in most areas. I have never had any problems. Most of the weed you will find in SE asia will not be of that quality. You need to spend some time there to meet farmers and find quality.

Laos huh? looks pretty decent for weed from such an area. Can't expect vacuum sealed tupper ware.

That peruvian brick is interesting too.
