Day 87 of flower chopped and hung to dry
I do recommend Purple satellite At 40N it starts flowering around mid July and finishes by the beginning of November. I don’t think you’re gonna get a photoperiod to start by June 22 , as I see it fast is good for sativas up northSo we can get sativas in the north, its a good route, as long as the autoflower side is decent, and not a weird high.
It depends on the auto at what size it triggers.
Ireland we can go from March to early November, light intensity is certainly an issue, thats why we search for strains that can make potency and terps at lower temps. We make up for it a bit with long light hours. Some himalayan and mexican highland sativas work here so far. Noticed the haze cross didn't like our cool summer last year at all compared to the rest.
A strain that flowers from solstice to mid/end October would be the ideal. 14-18wks
Anyone growing long flowering sativas in the north without light dep?
Been growing PS for a few seasons, and a PS x UEL cross, its really good here, great septoria resistance too, lovely high, potent. Presently high on Mountain Gold x UEL, very functional, would like some other spectrums to the highs however. To flower at solstice all the way to end of season, some very early or auto genes in there are needed. The UEL earlies up the PS by a whole month for example.I do recommend Purple satellite At 40N it starts flowering around mid July and finishes by the beginning of November. That would be nice but I think what you are looking for is a straight up auto - flower not any kind of photoperiod at all .I might be wrong but I believe that if it triggers with no drop in daylight at all ,It‘s an auto . If you think about it a month earlier than July 15 the daylight is still increasing . I believe that flowering starting in mid July is just about as early as photoperiod can be and is what is commonly called semi auto . At my latitude on the longest day of the year (June 22 ) the day is 15 hours long .these plants respond as early as July 15 with just 15 minutes less daylight .It might be possible to breed or select a photoperiod that flowers that early and also longer into the season ,but offhand I can’t think of oneBeen growing PS for a few seasons, and a PS x UEL cross, its really good here, great septoria resistance too, lovely high, potent. Cheers fror the recommendation, it's a good solid one
I’m currently sampling 2 of the Bros Grimm Cap Junky crosses and they are shockingly potent and unique. The Queen of Soul and Princess Haze x Cap Junky specifically.(Cap Junky x Rosetta Stone)X Watermelon Hashplant it's a breeze to trim getting spicy forest terps at the moment.

Yes the Cap Junky x Rosetta Stone were very potent I got more of a Jack Herer terpinolene.I’m currently sampling 2 of the Bros Grimm Cap Junky crosses and they are shockingly potent and unique. The Queen of Soul and Princess Haze x Cap Junky specifically.
They are extremely loud and the flavor carries over to the smoke. They’re both overtly sour smelling on the top whiff and the subsequent layers of aroma are apricot fruit rollup and unburnt spicy incense. The Queen of Soul is stinkier and hits harder, but both crosses are very nice. Both share the same aroma profile, very different structure. Very unique and holds its own potency wise with my go to hitters.
I bet your cross will have some very interesting phenos. This gene pool is almost certainly untouched by any Watermelon Hashplant genetics, so that will be a vigorous pool of possibilities! Watermelon terps would mingle amazingly with this stuff.
Some seriously nice looking zamal!Zamaldelica harvest after 93 days of flowering. A couple nanners at the end but huge resinous colas. Oily and fermented background reminiscent of the Malawi with acrid mango tones.

Are those regs or fems? I am ripening some of my Killer Zam F3's and then going to reveg the best one. They have the unique leaf patern of the mom I need to post a pic up. Different. I think they are Zamal dominant from 05 regs. Most potent smoke I've ever had. You couldnt drive on it and it was really really out there. Far Out you might say LOL! One of them is coated too.Zamaldelica harvest after 93 days of flowering. A couple nanners at the end but huge resinous colas. Keep it up gents. Got alot of Mango Thai and MTxOTH x ZxC (I'm calling her too long from now on, slightly better ring to it lol) this season, looking for a good stud of both hopefully. Must have 30 of each sprouted. But will be culling aggressively as I know what I'm looking for.
