Revival of the REVIVAL of the ULTIMATE SATIVA THREAD a.k.a R.U.S.T II

A timing the sativas harvest question.

I found my way back to sativas after a 40 year break growing. This is my 3rd season back.
We never had the luxury of taking them as far as we wanted back in the guerilla days.

After a particularly spectacular season outdoors I'm concerned I might take them too far.
Certainly don't want to jump the gun.
But I was forced to chop a bit early on some last year so my plan is to be resolute. 😉

In general If you're looking for the psychoactive giggly do you still wait for a percentage of amber?
The 15% amber - 70%milky - 15% clear standard?

Or overall look of the buds? swelling, pistils, the beginning of foxtailing. etc.
Full expression of the plant?
I've got all the latter. I'm at 10 weeks.

Thanks
If you have the ability,
Sativa's are best vegged for 6months or more. Then take clones from an old mom and flower out the clones.
Nothing kills the magic like flowering too early.
Also, they become too unruly when flowered early.
When allowed to mature while vegging, they are quite tame to grow indoors.

Its a 5x5x8ft grow tent. Not very ideal at all for a strain this wild but I've wanted to grow something thai for a long time now. Below is a link to the kind lady that runs the farms. She has quite a few interesting strains. Fast shipping too, 7 days from Thailand to Texas. Not bad

Prempavee! I love this lady! Yeah, she has some amazing Thai landraces!
Very tempting for me here, I think any of them would run nicely here where I am.
I've been enjoying lots of Thai hybrids lately, mostly with NvHz crosses of some type.
Haha, 1000 baht for 20 or 30 seeds, so cheap! Like, about 1 USD per seed.
And her mix packs, 1000 baht for 100 seeds, woah!
Does she ship stealth? If it got into Texas... I'm thinking yes.

It was wrapped in the t shirt in some smellproof bags. A closer inspection would have found the seeds easy.
Noted, thanks!
I wonder if it would be possible to communicate with her, add a few more baht to the bill, and go stealth.
She does have some very sweet Thai genetics there.
Just watched that episode of Strain Hunters recently, too.
(If it appropriate to say such things here on ICMag? :p )
