Happy winter solstice and bountiful harvest to all southern hemisphere growers who keep growing pure sativas against all odds, against all trends

A legend is showing here
Oldtimer Purple Haze x Meao Thai girl 2 Meao thai pheno
Excellent landrace resistance for this cross, no bugs on buds. Bugs dont like this strain, on par with my Northern Thailand 2008 line. I hope high is in par too and I wouldnt mind at all if it is even better

Mango Karut boy, beautiful pink pistils, hope it can be seen on pictures
Excellent landrace resistance for this line. I got all these guys full of pests indoors, I brought them out to the cold and they got rid of all pests in just 48 hours. A couple of weeks out and they are green again. I hope it gets adapted, it has great potential coming from lat 22 S, same lat as Pedro Juan Caballero. Probably the best lat for ganja in the whole planet, right on the Tropic of Capricorn

Winter project, I want to smoke all these Zamal boys and if they make a few seed I would not mind either, I am not into breeding building blocks, most of the sativa legacy left is degraded with endogamy problems and a loooot of inbreeding depression. These intersex boys are constantly being culled without even checking what they have to offer.
Zamal males.jpeg

Maybe it is time to have a second look at all canna breeding theories and see what is wrong because the building breeding blocks left is a disaster
If the best sativa ganja is coming from intersex lines, then why all these intersex males are being culled if they are not passing the trait to the girls? I believe by culling all these males and breeding just for firm sex and not for firm potency, lines get washed down, specially when talking about pure long flowering sativas.
I am not talking about indica x sativa hybrids, it is not the same thing. I dont want to grow a wannabe thai like THH
For that I prefer growing real pure thai, and if it is crossed then only with real long flowering sativa and not with indicas diluting the high and bringing mold and fungus problems to the equation

Happy summer solstice to northern hemisphere growers as well!!

grandfunk. it is very good solution for thai haze hybrid. it adapts to various environments much better than landrace. and it is easier to grow. contains real thai genetics from 70s... just get 100 days + pheno, which looks like this, do you see how it is brown? brownish thai pheno... trainwreck is lime green and toms haze is not brown. so it is that thai in it...

I heard good things about GN thai stick from Kanga, who understands sativas well, so I believe him it hides trippy phenos, he found one in 20 females. it was picked after 2000. it is on my list for sure.

very nice. amnesia core was, by far, the easiest haze hybrid I grew... very resistant too, for such dense buds. too bad it doesn't outcross so well...

Thats true the core cut is a very easy to grow plant. What i really like is the big harvest window. With 9 weeks she is already very good hitting and gets better with every day. Can't wait to try my buddys plant after a good 8 weeks cure. Plan was to give her 12 weeks.
