Nice looking zamal, wily. I had stippling like that on some of my leaves and it turned out I had mites (two spotted in my case). Have you checked the undersides of those leaves with a loupe? If not, you might want to take a closer look.

HB.

I am everyday in war with mites, and many other insect, i spray the plants with a solution of hydrogen peroxide, I think it's h2o2 ...they go away but after 3-4 week come back...

Around here there are fields of corn and fruit, it is difficult to keep insects away, fortunately there are also ladybugs, mantis, spiders, etc ...

The giant plant to the back is a Nevilles haze cross. I think it has Headband and something else in it. Its a volunteer.

We would all climb high into a oak tree with a base almost 3 feet across.

Up in the tree, we would carefully unwrap the Thai stick hemp string, and load a small pipe with the sweet fragrant incense buds. We would each get a big lung full and hold it for as long as we could.

Everything would instantly change way up high in that tree, Everything became bright and cheerful. The world had new meaning.
And then it was story telling time...,. My favorite story was the one about the giant Thai plants in Thailand that grew year round. They were trees 15 feet tall, and required tall ladders to harvest the delicate sweet buds that we were smoking.

Here is the tree today. The base of the trunk is now 4' x 5' across. Its enormous. We sat mid way up, 20' above the ground on the big limb that goes to the left ( second from the top) and is level. I did a large weed leaf carving and mounted it up there.

And the creek was right below us, 10' behind the tree. We used to get high and fish sometimes, between classes

I grew some Dr. Grinspoon indoors last year, and put the plants outside in about February. They grew tall in the winter, and budded out. I harvested them but left one bud on each. They went into veg, grew, and are now in bud again for the second or third time.

These are truly year rounders, although they are not 15' tall

Hey Doc,

Have you grown anything close in potency and type of high to those Thai Sticks from back in the day? I'd love to hear all about it.

I tried growing seeds from Thai Sticks, the skinny sticks, many times. I only had one work out well, but the high was not the same. It was very strong. I did grow a rare freak pheno of Neville's Haze that did have the spitting image of the high, including the kick. It had the nervous system borderline numbness, or electric eel feel to it. The Neville's Haze freak may have been even better. Maybe it was just me being so full of joy to feel that high again.

Thanks ahead of time for your answer.

We used to grow Thai in the late 70s
We were also growing Columbian Red in the mid 70s. I havnt seen anything like them since.
I havnt given up looking though!

I have had a lot of great Hazes and Sativas over the years. I try something new about each run, indoor and out. The Bucksaw Narrow leafs, both look and smell promising. They are just beginning to put out a very special terpene profile. Spice, earthy, incense, and possibly some citrus in the background

PURPLE SATELLITE HARVEST
Today the last of the Satellite had to come, it rained last night at dusk so today I harvested wet buds, tomorrow expecting several inches of rain here. Even with all the wet and high humidity, plants only had about 2% bud mold loss.
P.S. the Merlot is a larger bottle for scale.

Garden looks great as always, Doc P! That tree looks like it would be a perfect place to hang around and get baked in...being able to go fishing is a big plus as well!

Best of luck with the rest of the season.
