Who has tried Cbg Caribe? Really interested in the Jamaican with a dash of Nl x Haze for vigor. I'm probably going to get Orient Express\Panama... but I may try caribe, and just get the 3 feminised Orient Express freebies..... We'll see... I'm about to do some Seedsman Early Durban, Sugar Haze, and Mama Thai sativa hunting... I already have some Mullumbimby madness x Black Lime Reserve I just transplanted last night... They should start taking off.. I'll get pics of those up in a few weeks.. Should be VERY interesting stuff to show off soon... Some Sativas under my blue dominate Lush LED spectrum enriched with IR\UV.. I can't wait!!

Hello my friends ! 
Not sure Bangi Haze is deemed sativa enough but here are a few nugs of the 2 i posted pics of here, a while ago. Had to harvest them early because of bad weather, insane bugs attacks and a few mold starts i didn't want spreading on the other plants.
This morning i took a good bong bowl to sample the slim pheno and, like for the fat one, it was a very pleasant experience...
Despite the differences between the 2 phenos, the type of high is quite similar: very clear, uplifting/energizing with slight euphoria and a glowing love feeling.
The taste isn't as pronounced as the fat pheno's. It could be because this trait expresses itself towards the full ripeness for the slim one.
The high lasted a little over 2 hours. The landing was a bit heavier but these poor girls took 3 weeks of very bad weather prior to being cut at day 41 of flo. Also, the drying has been sped up to avoid mold spreading...
There's no doubt that in more favorable conditions both phenos would have performed much better. That's why this isn't a real smoke report but just the sharing of my first impressions.
To be honest though, when i look at the nugs i think highly possible that several factors could hasten the ripeness at our latitude in this season...

I'm not totally sure it would have been beneficial to let the plants go 2 more weeks. With a better weather, one more would have been perfect for the kind of high i'm looking for.
The next batch will hopefully have more luck with the weather... ;-)
While enjoying the high taking me over this morning, i couldn't help feeling surges of gratitude for our friends at Ace. Many thanks again to them for allowing us to discover these gems

Does anyone use Neptune's Harvest Fish& Seaweed+kelp instead of amending soil with teas\guano bone\bloodmeal...
I'm eyeballing their stuff and getting curious. The Tomato & Veg 2-4-2 or Rose & Flower 2-6-4 sound like good all in ones.... Instead of the "Organic for beginners" 0-0-1 Seaweed + Fish emulsion 5-1-1 for veg, and Neptune 2-3-1 & 0-0-1 seaweed for flowering.
I'm about to leave the maxibloom K.i.s.s alone, and Dwc alone... Go back to soil & organic... Just far more practical for pheno hunting, and growing Sativas than Dwc... Plus obviously I want the healthiest terpiest Sativas possible

Only compost/vermicompost with perlite and or vermiculite here... then water only! I do not understand why people think you need to feed so much, it's mostly about environment, training and lighting. When you remove the peat moss or other substrats like coco and replace all that space with compost instead you do not need to feed a plant, giving that you provide ample room for their roots. I have good success with 7 gallons pots.
I will definitely go with that thought..... I love the idea of hempy buckets... but they need a little more than just nitrogen.
Your plants look like they are a little on the wanting side, but... Definitely impressive for what you put into them. You should try some Neptune's harvest lol

Definitely better to have them on this side than on the other one...
Easier to adjust... Cannabis needs requirments fufilled no matter how it's gone about being done. Compost is a very good source and microbe rich. Bottled nutes are a joke, can't stand to mess with hydro. Even all the mixing with concentrated dr bulk chem nutes, it's too much science, not enough biology.
It takes a lot of compost though. Good compost. Too much compost that is rich and it won't drain and breath enough.

I use a moisture meter, every batch of compost is different and weighs differently, also I do not have a set recipe, sometimes I use more or less perlite, so the moisture meter is very helpful in my garden.

Couldn't resist and tried another 2 Panama x Original Haze seeds. Had a male and this female that is a little bit hazier than my Pan-o-Haze cut. day 90 of 12/12 (105 from seed)

A few years ago I had an exemplary Miss U. male that expressed a number of traits that I felt were worth attempting to preserve. Indeed, this guy reliably passed on the trichome structure, trichome density and terpene profile of the Miss U.
At the same time I had been given some feminized seeds as freebies and I ended up liking many things about a single specimen of S6. Curious what the stability of a Fem x Standard cross would be, I dusted that very frosty S6 female with Miss U. pollen. The results were a population with mostly Ms. U. morphology that finished surprisingly early and retained much of the potency and flavor of the dad's side of the family. No intersexing has shown up in these as of yet but I usually only grow one or two a year and never under stress.
The aromas and flavors are of the the pineapple/grape/banana/hash type, and the smoke is very thick and oily with a lot of residual flavor. It's a fairly dense high, and though the front end has some soaring clarity to it, it soon mellows into something heavier and somewhat sedative.
