Dr.grinspoon was a unknown landrace from green house seeds, apparently popular in Amsterdam coffee shops as the holy grail of sativa back in the days. The 2 I grew years ago were not quite ready at 120 and 130 days respectively.

Grinspoon seems similar to Nevilles Haze to me. I have a few grinspoons going now. 3rd run. I even ran them outdoors this winter with no trouble. Now they are revegging

I've read somewhere that dr.g. is a sergent Garcia from reeferman(purple thai x panama red) with another name....

I love this thread but haven't as yet had anything pure to contribute. I have noticed that quite a few sativa/indica hybrids have been sneaking in lately but not mentioning any names. Maybe there needs to be an ultimate Sativa Hybridized with Indica Thread, a.k.a .S.H.I.T. .

I agree. I figure no one under 50 knows what a sativa actually is? To my mind an ultimate sativa should have zero indica. Like your idea of a SHIT thread.
Have to say some great pics in here though.

My only pure sativa is too ugly to photograph.

I have grown a few 100+ days landraces over the years, I never grew any one of them to perfection, it is really hard in my perpetual system to grow plants that take so long.

However, I have grown so so many cultivars over the years that I think I have a very good idea of the difference between indicas and sativas, preferably referred to as BLD cultivars and NLD cultivars.

When I saw this thread for the first time I must admit I thought it was all about the sativa effects, not necessarily lineage or plant structure...

So when I post some hybrids here, to me, they are the opposite of a BLD cultivar in their effects, like anti-couch weed. If that bothers people sorry it's my bad I should keep them for the trip weed thread instead!

icic . ya think he meant barneys not greenhouse? unless greenhouse had it before barneys? barneys also enjoys referman genetics i think so that would make sense.

very unique look to it and many people seem to like it that try it. but really not worth growing indoors i wouldnt think.

Here is a hybrid with significant Thai, Cambodian, and Congolese influence:

I suspect it will be a stretch for it to finish before November 1 at 42 N. LOL. I might get lucky.

I breed for quality sativa effect (cerebral, trippy, euphoric, energetic) and early ripening. This is one of my attempts.

I did make COBs with my grinspoon on my last harvest, they do not smoke smooth yet so I might have fucked up but the smell is so heavenly its unreal!

Wonder if she can finish outdoors anywhere outside of the equator.

last pruning to keep the plants small, in a few weeks I will put them in 5 liter pots ....I added few grain of organic fertilizer, and eliminated an invasion of aphids and other ugly beings ....
